HTC One M10 design leaked in photo

This thread will blow up over that photo...watch and see. Anyone who buys this phone can essentially drop the mic on any Samsung, Nokia, or iGadget and simply walk away purely on the beauty of this device.

It looks like an iPhone. They could probably get away with dropping the mic on a Samsung of Nokia device...but definitely not on an iPhone user. Let's at least acknowledge the obvious similarities here. It's a nice phone...but it's very iPhone influenced.

I never listen to music with the boomsound speakers. They're nice when your'e in a quiet environment for videos, otherwise if I'm listening to music it's with headphones or over bluetooth to speakers. It would be a bummer to loose the speakers but I'd take it if they get the camera and battery right.

With HTC having had another BAD Quarter, HTC has said that they would turn things around with the Next Flagship Phone which will be the M10.

The M9 was just an Incremental Update over the M8 and with the A9 Not doing too well either, HTC has been Downsizing and Restructuring in order to make the M10 be a Success.

If HTC gets rid of the BoomSound Speakers as well as Don't Up their Design game and Hardware game, then this Quarter WILL Hit HTC where it Matters in 2 Areas.

The First is in CUSTOMERS and because of it Effecting their Customer Base, then it WILL Effect their Bottom Line in Sales.

I hope that HTC is Purposely releasing False Pictures of devices in order to keep the Real M10 Under Wraps until their Official Unveiling after MWC 2016.

Also, HTC Should have 2 Different Versions of the M10. The M10 at 5.2" & M10 Plus at 6". Each with 64GB & 128 GB of Internal Storage Options as well as Expandable Storage.

Seems like HTC can't make a lot people happy with removing boomsound. I've read a lot of comments where people say that's the best selling point HTC has and why get rid of it? I say lots of people are music junkies and would rather have their music heard through their ear buds, wireless speakers, and smart tvs. I think if HTC nails audio quality and the camera they will do well. People who wont purchase the phone due to lack of boomsound are in the minority. Those individuals will have to assimilate to the changes made by HTC or look to other manufacturers who don't have boomsound at all.

I've said before, as long as the speaker isn't on the back and it sounds as clear and with the same clarity at max volume I will be fine with boomsound gone. The max volume actually went down with the M9 vs the M8 so I want the M10 to be louder whether it has boomsound or not. Let's be honest, you can't create true "surround sound" with speakers 4 inches away from each other anyway.

Agree 100%

The link to the XDA post says the render is "missing" the thing on the front. That better be boomsound. I used it all the time. If they can release the One X9 in China that is essentially what checks the boxes off for EVERYBODY, then they would be idiotic not to release a version here.

Why does Boomsound have to be two front facing speakers? If they provide one quality and loud bottom facing speaker, I'd be cool with that.

No, that is hidden capacitive buttons. Also there is a report out of Taiwan that it still has dual speakers just not front facing. They are guessing earpiece plus bottom mounted speaker.

I hope this is wrong. Front facing speakers was the sole reason I went with HTC One M series.

The speakers were one of the reasons I bought one, but now that I'm spoiled, it will be hard to accept a phone that gives up one of their signature features.

They need to do a better job with marketing of they want to get out of the red.

They need to get this out at roughly the same time as the S7 and G5 or that could be a problem. These rumors saying announcement in April and ship in may is too late imo. Lots of people will already have their S7 and G5 with return window closed.

When I first saw my son's LG G3 my mouth dropped open with how large the screen was compared to my HTC One M7 at the time and now the M9, I may be nitpicking but, I'd like to see a larger screen.

The M10 will have 5.2 inch screen.

Could be a really decent camera if it's the sensor from the Nexus 6P but also with OIS. Should mean that low light shots are even better. Hopefully they've got some great software processing to make some stellar images. I haven't used a HTC phone since the M8, so I hope they have a bit f a manual mode so we can tweak a few settings here and there. I like the Nexus 6P camera, but it definitely lacks in settings/tweaking.
