HTC ONE M7 QUESTION/QUESTIONS Sprint variant

I am new to android central,BUT far from a noob ...my m7 battery is dying at an alarming rate...I did the OTA update long before Sprint did their forced OTA update.I have done my homework and Smith seems to be uninstalled and the flashlight app as per update,WHAT A EPIC FAIL BY REMOVING THE FLASHLIGHT APP in my opinion....I JUST checked (ALL APPLICATIONS) and its still in there under "smith"plZ see the ss I have attached to this post ...MY question is simple,who has had the battery issue like mine ?? Before the update my phone's battery would last on average of 12 hrs of VERY HEAVY use,Netflix,spotify,fb,and browsing .. NOW I'm lucky if I make it 3/4 hrs ...quick sidenote..my wife has the exact same model as mine AND she waited for the forced update AND has the exact same issue

Thanks much for ANY and all YOUR help...Ohh one other quick note,I cleared the data on it and force stopped it prior to screen shooting it ....NOOB move on my part as I wanted to show it was in use ...also you can NOT disable it
