HTC One (M8): Big four US networks on the 25th?

Re: Big four US networks on the 25th?

I agree. They need the money, and if this is true it's not too lengthy to significantly hinder sales IMO. It'll still be out on all carriers when the S5 launches.

We don't know that. The $$ could be already baked in from when Verizon kept the DNA on the shelves while the other carriers were selling the One.

Well yeah I guess anything is possible. Verizon could've paid an arm and a leg to get the DNA (first widely available 1080p display) exclusively and knew they were gonna be last with the One. There's no way HTC didn't shop the One to Verizon, which means Verizon knew about it when they decided on the DNA, but for whatever reason wanted to be first with 1080p.

I'm just not sure that HTC has the muscle right now to make any demands of the major carriers.

Oh I agree, which would help explain this potential exclusive period. They couldn't say no to Verizon.
