HTC One M8: New micro SD not working??

[AC Question]

Every time I try to move pictures from my cell to my new micro SD they show up grey with a caution triangle (triangle with an !). I need these pictures & I need more space on my phone!! What the heck?? How do I fix this?

How are you moving them? I'd try a different method. USB drag and drop with a pc. File manager app from the Play Store. Batch mode from the gallery.
