HTC One (M8): What is everyone using for cases?

Sorry, meant to post that as a reply but I was referring to the clear back one from Amazon with the black plastic around the corners case. It has an opening for the power button and the or blaster works fine!

Spigen Slim Armor in gunmetal came a day early. Quick impressions between this and my current favorite case (Incipio DualPro) are as follows:

Spigen:
+ Slightly more grippy
+ Slimmer bezel around screen
+ Easier to press volume buttons
+ Covers more area around camera
- Blocks memory card slot
- Blocks IR Blaster
- Harder to remove

Incipio:
+ More appealing design (imo)
+ Access to microSD
+ IR Blaster functional
+ Wider headphone jack opening may allow for greater compatibility with headphones than Spigen
- Could be more grippy

Overall, it will come down to personal preference. I like that the Spigen feels a little more grippy in the hand, but the Incipio allows access to the microSD and IR Blaster. Pick your poison.

The two cases I'm down to as well. Have you noticed any issues with the flash with either? I'd expect it more so with the Spigen since it seems to cover more of that area.

Picked up the Speck Candy Shell from Best Buy. Really doesn't add much bulk and adds some nice grip. Is black, wish they made a clear one.

The Spigen looks really good !!! I just got a cheapo $5 clear case today for my M8 and Ill see how it goes for a few days ....... but Im really liking the Spigen and may end up getting this as well !?!?

Mind sharing any shots of the Spigen one installed? Thinking of ordering that one. Don't really use the IR blaster since I have Google Fiber and use Bluetooth instead. :)

New to the forums. :) And I have the clear/black TPU one from Verizon.

Haven't seen any issues with flash. Seems to work fine.

I had bought a Hybrid Hard Tpu/clear plastic case as my 1st one from Verizon....but quickly put it aside for My 2 Favorite Spigen cases for the HTC M8!!! The 100% clear TPU for going out on the weekends Showing off the Beauty of the phone, and My Slim Armor for great Protection when i'm at work. I Got both of these from Amazon for the same price of 1 case from Verizon2014-04-12 19.03.51.jpg.

Its alright for a temporary case. I'd say 8/10. Reason being because there's a very small gap between the bottom edge of the phone (where the bottom port opening is) and the case, so dust may sneak in. It also has a tight fit, so it's somewhat of a hassle to take off to clean. Overall, it looks real nice on the phone! Very minimalist, and you can see that nice metal back! :) Which pretty much makes up for what I didn't like!

its pretty thin, dual layered case so its not like the super thin ones, this is dual layer so will offer drop protection and not just scratch protection. i had a otterbox commuter on my m7. this is definitely thinner and lighter. hard to describe but it a very lightweight material not like otterbox.

So here is the case I started with and can be read about in more detail here ... PureGear - Slim Shell Case for The new HTC One (M8). It was a very close fitting low profile case. The clear back seemed a good thickness but I have no experience with the clear back and how they may or may not scratch over time. The grip was excellent but I just not sure I liked it over all.

After seeing the Spigen I am trying one out in green. Fits really nice and feels of excellent quality. The grip is a little slicker than the Pure Gear but not much so. Play this one for a bit and see how it goes.

I have the same case for my iPhone. I like it but the acrylic is soft and scratches easy.
