It's kind of minor but annoying but since the update the text in my emails is either very small or resized to fit the screen. It's random from what I can tell because many of the emails have the same source. 2 will be resized and 1 won't or vice versa. No rhyme or reason. Pinching the screen is just slightly annoying.

Since last official update to Android KitKat 4.4.19 I've been experiencing annoying lags browsing the Blink Feed, text resizing bugs on some internet websites and... I can't even scroll down the notification centre anymore! Is this happening to anyone else? Have you already fixed the problem? htc one m7

Hello everyone,

I lost all my media files. Photos, videos, music. My phone just randomly reset once a few days ago and everything was gone. I checked ES file explorer to see if they were still there, but they are gone from there too. There is no Music folder at all, actually. Normally, I'd just think they were gone forever, but then when I went into settings, I noticed that my "other storage" was now 22gb, so I'm guessing the files somehow got moved there. I just have no way of accessing them.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks.

It had happened to me when I purchased my ONE about a year ago. I had transferred few songs on the phone to check the sound quality and they didn't show up. I tried through file manager to spot the files and they didn't seem to be there in the folder I put them in. Just tried using local search on the device with the name of the song and found those files deep inside a system folder. How they shifted there no clue but I manually copy pasted those files from there and put them back.

Also, few antivirus apps do these kind of crazy things where the app quarantines media files for certain reasons. Had a similar bad experience with my previous Xperia TX

Thanks for the reply, but that didn't work. Tried searching for a number of files, and nothing was found. The data is there, I'm sure. Just don't know how to access it.

I have one for you guys... I've had my phone since January of this year. It was working fine until last night when I got this message "Sorry! com.htc.htcdialer is not responding."
A few minutes after this it rebooted itself and started doing this over and over. I turned it off and left it like that all night. This morning I turned it on and it was still doing that. After trying to fix it for a couple of hours I decided to factory reset it. That was a nightmare. it wouldn't let me go through the setup process, before I could finish it it would reboot itself. that happened 4 times. After that I gave up and just skipped the whole process so that I could at least use the phone again. Now my phone is completely stripped of all my info, apps, etc and, of course, it's still doing it! The phone is useless because it keeps rebooting itself over and over after a few minutes. What can I do? How can I fix this?

okay, so yesterday i downloaded and installed the new software update for my htc one. before the update i had the password set to a word, now it wants me to speak into it to unlock it?? i had no such password set, and it responds to no verbal commands. also when being asked to speak the word "speak" or "speak now" glitches out and only shows the "S" and no buttons on this page are responsive. completely locked out and live no where near a shop to unlock. what can i do?!?

Screen mirroring no longer working on sense 6? I can't connect to my TV after the upgrade. Do you have the same problem with sense 6?

Not sure if this is an HTC One bug or a Kitkat bug - either way its weird as hell.
I have my camera set to save photos on the ext SD card. Through the camera/gallery app i delete a picture or a video, and it looks like its gone. But if i go to the folder through an explorer app (i've tried Total commander, X-plore, Airdroid), that picture or video is still very much there in the DCIM/100media folder on the SD card. And on kitkat, the explorer app is unable to delete the files (since it doesnt have write permission to external SD card), so i cant delete through it.
I'm ending up with a whole lot of junk images/videos on my SD card with no way to delete them!

I recently discovered my HTC ONE M7 has dead pixels on the top of the screen (notifications bar, which sucks as you cant access any shortucut to the notifications and need to look for the app on your own) and in the middle of the screen (when there is something to click on that spot i have to scroll up or down where the screen actually works. In some cases the page can't be scrolled down or zoomed therefore I am just screwed without options).
Turns out this happens 6 months after I got this phone exchanged by HTC (because the original phone I bought had a defective camera with purple color bug). This means the screen of the "new" phone I got has a life span of 6 months without defects only. SIX MONTHS!!
It seems when HTC replaces your phone for a new one they are just giving you defective products or refurbished products, which will break shortly after.

I just had my phone replaced through the warranty exchange... The phone worked fine with the exception of making calls. The other person could only hear me if I had my phone on speakerphone. If it wasn't, they said I sounded horrible.
Obviously some microphone issue, but it turns out my neighbor now is having the same exact problem.

Anyone else?

Hi guys,

I'm after a little advice if anybody has had similar problems to my girlfriend. Her HTC One had an error causing it to become completely silent on calls on both ends of the line. This was taken to Carphone Warehouse and HTC replaced the handset. The brand new handset started to do the same thing so after having a look online we reset the phone to factory settings. Now the handset will not connect to wifi and from looking online again it needs to be updated to the latest software! Problem is, the latest software takes us back to square one with the silent calls and she cannot connect to wifi to download it in the first place.

Does anybody have any suggestions as to what may be causing this or what may fix it? Carphone want to send the handset off for it to be wiped but it sounds like a software issue.

Weird. The same problem twice. Should be software, but if you already have done factory reset there is no other alternative than sending it to service.

I tried updating my phone to the latest Lollipop update. I'm using an M7. This is what happened:

- Update reached almost half then reset. Stopped again at 1/4th and showed a screen with a red triangle and exclamation.
- Tried Reboot, Recovery, and Factory Reset from the options once you go to recovery screen.
- All processes had the same step: HTC screen, blank screen, HTC screen, blank screen, back to red triangle with exclamation screen.

Nothing is working.

I also recently updated my M7 to lollipop 5.0.2/htc sence 6.0/software number 7.19.771.1
Despite the fact that M7 looked (in my opinion) way better before Lollipop, i now experience a very annoying problem. Home button doesn't function as home button and the only thing is doing is to reply on double tap. (recent apps). And some time not even this. I hard reset it and the problem still exists. I am using Nova Launcher and i never had problems before lollipop. Does anyone have same problem?

I have a question guys! If When I'm on any sense based rom (stock or custom) or any gpe rom (stock or custom) my camera is always laggy in low light (that applies for both the rear and the front facing camera) and if I record a video the FPS is super low wich makes the video useless. But when I'm on a custom AOSP rom (CM,Carbon,Du,AICP) my camera is totally fine! No video FPS drop, no laggy camera! Is there a system file I need to edit or something, becuase I want to be able to use beatsaudio and record nice videos in all light situations!
