I find it utterly pointless. Maybe it works better outside the UK. The ability to turn it off in 4.3 - now THAT is genius.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Yes you will need a miracast dongle for wireless or MHL adapter for wired.

Not sure I just use the 4G/LTE to force 4G network.

Yes, I have HTC media link in my car, and netgear PTV3000 at home supports miracast @1080p

You can force your sense desktop and app drawer to landscape using rotation locker app How to set orientation to landscape on HTC sense - YouTube
probably not a big deal for some but it just annoys me when I'm playing in landscape mode then goes to portrait when I go back in desktop or app drawer.
