Could this be "who's" unlimited plan you have. Mine is an old Alltel unlimited plan, could this be why?

With FoxFi I had that behavior - the certificate stuff comes with PDANet+, which apparently has FoxFi built into it. I installed PDANet+, did the certificate thing (I had already selected a screenlock) and I was good to go.

FoxFi, with ad-on and PDANet+, will not work on my HTC One with Verizon. I don't understand "the certificate thing" you mention. I received no prompt for anything like that and can't find anything on any menu. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
