I've owned both the nexus and razr, stuck with the razr. Honestly, all three phones are really nice, none perfect on every level. Best thing to do is go play with them see which one suits your needs. Nexus is a google phone, so it will get updates a lot sooner than anyone else..also easily rooted, so a ton of roms out there for it. HTC has everyone beat on camera..everything works solid with the rest of the phone but it has HTC ui "sense" you either love it it hate it. I liked the razr, super solid build quality that works for me. Either way, you aren't going to get a bad phone. All the bashing by some is just nonsense..no need to rip something apart to justify your choices...sounds as bad as arrogant iPhone users thinking all other phones are crap compared to theirs..simply not true!

this phone is pretty much compareable to the iphone as far as user delight. If you do not own 1 you do not know. Buy what you wanna buy, I won't tell you what to do but I highly suggest people reconsider buying anything but the Gnex if you're available for upgrade. Just for the long javidi factor alone. Not to mention the screen is absolutely beautiful. Everyone will tell you there is no better screen on the market.

I call BS... put this Gnex next to any cheap ass htc phone, or moto right now. It destroys them. By april or march this phone will b maximum pleasure. while other phone owners will be looking at buying a new phone by july first period.....

You know all of the Rezound owners had working phones, that did what they were supposed to do, by the time they opened the box.

what I do know is the Beats by Dre clouded allot of judgements out there. Even the design of the rezound is really outdated. Way too chunky today's phone should have very little to no bezel. Instead of a huge brick sitting in your pocket.IMO. I had a HTC Evo 3d. They feel strong because they're heavy, but really are cheaply made phones.

Yes, across the board where I live and everywhere I go around here, I was consistently without data, including 3G too often. I didn't travel with it (out of town, etc) and I'm not sure I can determine what a stronger market would be. I live downtown in a 4G city. With the Gnex I couldn't get 4G at home, work or even the Verizon store where I bought it when every other 4G phone was flying. With the Rezound, not an issue. Get strong 4G in all those places and even places I wouldn't expect.

I've owned both (still own the Rezound). Rezound screen is better. You can take that as my opinion, but even reviews of the technology and hardware state it as a fact.

I did alot of driving around with the Gnex. It performs well in strong signal areas....sucks in weak ones. Not just looking at the dBms but I was getting garbled phone calls at home that I never experienced with my Droid X, OG. Signal on the Rezound very comparable to the Droids, no garbled calls and I get 4G at work and at home. I didn't not get 4G at home or work on the Gnex. Stark contrast and a very easy call to ditch the Gnex.

BTW, the OP should do some checking before posting another of these which has been hashed over ad nauseum.

I'm not sure I could agree..I have owned one.. Its a nice phone, not here to rip on it, but the razr and rezound are equally as nice. your speaking of the update factor for longevity? How about build quality? Its the week point of the nexus imo..the point is..all the phones have strengths and weaknesses and each of us have different wants and needs. Android isn't like iPhone in that its not a"one size fits all" Rezound,Razr,Nexus are all top notch phones, but different. So one phone may be the best out there for some, while it may not be for others..get what fits you!

4g on the razr Maxx is from what I've heard 9 or so hours, but still it's 5 hours more than any other 4g phone. Constant 4G on any phone other than Razr Maxx or Rezound Maxx will only get you around 4-5 hours
