HTC's One delayed because suppliers think it's 'no longer a tier-one customer,' says WSJ

Which is probably why, in my original post, I specifically stated "Spec-wise" as the variance in the phones. Spend more time actually comprehending what people say than making smart-ass remarks and you might find conversing more enjoyable.

Thanks, next time I need advice from someone who preaches when they can't even communicate without behaving petulant I'll make sure you're the first person I ask.

Hmmm... I think i see the problem here. I didn't realize that "not good enough" battery life was the opposite of "poor" battery life. I thought they were synonymous. Except...

See, I just assumed that comments like "really bad" and "Then the dna was a failure, small battery AND you can't change it." and "it means you're stuck with piss poor battery life" or even "A phone maker with a record of bad battery life like HTC shouldn't be allowed to make phones with non replaceable batteries." meant that the battery life was poor in your opinion. Apparently I have a reading comprehension problem.

The MAXX, note 2,don't have poor battery life, just not long enough.

Not good enough and poor are 2 different things.

The dna, yes had poor battery life.

No, it doesn't.

If you're killing a Maxx in one day, you are not a normal user and have no place to judge what is not good enough and poor.

What he says is true. For him. But if you say you can't get a full day on a Maxx you're not only NOT the average user, you're a super-heavy user so you're requirements and expectations will exceed what the majority of us would require to get through a full day. When you pretend that's not the case your argument loses some merit.

I've been said I'm a heavy user.

I never denied it, I just want a battery to keep up with me for one day, that's it, just one day.

I've become comfortable with switching the battery out once in the middle of the day and it isn't a problem but to take that away from me is not good no matter what type of spin you put on it

Unfortunately for folks like you, battery and cpu tech hasn't reached the stage where you can have what you're looking for without swapping batteries

Then stop trying to say battery life on certain devices is poor or just good enough. You're not a normal user, and your needs frankly don't match a large majority of customers.

Haha. I know in forum time it's only been a few back and fourths......but in real time it seems like forever that you guys have been bickering about battery life....and not on the One.

I agree they aren't good enough. When they last a week with heavy use and charge in a minute they will be good enough.

When they charge in a minute, I won't care how long they last, anyway won't be long theve already created a battery that can charge in seconds, won't be long before it makes it into smartphones.
