I bought the 128 GB White P3XL. What did you get?

Preordered two 64GB 3's (one White, one "Pink") to replace a Nexus 5X and a Galaxy S5, ordered on Project Fi's site to get the $799 credit for the second phone. The delivery estimate in my order confirmation is December 7-8! I guess they probably have different inventories for the Project Fi and Google stores, though my order confirmation also says "The Google Store team is handling your Project Fi order." Shrug.

I picked up the black 128 GB with the pixel stand and added the protection plan as well. My delivery is set for October 22-23.

I pre-ordered a Pixel 3 XL 'Clearly White' 64GB model. Was sat with YouTube open in one window watching the event and the other with the Google Store open ready to order the moment I could :D Can't believe I've got to wait til November though to get it (UK)

Someone posted that a Google store rep said the November is not the correct date.... You should get it sooner... Under Promise and over deliver I guess.

If you are spending more than $550 USD for as "smartphone" than you are wasting money. Sure its your money so I dont really care, but phones like the 1+ 6, and even the POCO phone, will give you 95% of the functionality and performance as the $800 plus phones will. Save your money and buy a year old flagship, or a One Plus 6T when it comes out.

Completely false. Phones like the OnePlus 6 will give me exactly zero percent of the functionality of the Pixel 3 XL. The OnePlus 6 literally can't even make a phone call on my network, has a worse camera, worse display, blah, blah it doesn't matter. To this post also, just like the guy yesterday - why is this post in a thread about "which model did you buy?"

No, none of the OnePlus devices nor the POCO will work on Verizon. The POCO doesn't even properly work on AT&T and T-Mobile.

From an AP article about this, "A bigger issue is the cellular band support. This phone is intended for Asian markets, so your connectivity in the US will be mediocre. There's no CDMA for Sprint or Verizon, but that's no surprise; plenty of unlocked phones lack that. The 3G band support is only optimal for AT&T, but LTE is going to be a problem. The Pocophone F1 has band 1(2100), 3(1800), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 20(800), 38(2600), 40(2300), 41(2500). Band 5 is the only one on that list active in the US, and it's just a supplementary band for AT&T and T-Mobile. You're going to have very poor connectivity with this phone in the US."

YMMV obviously, the point still remains the same. Go ahead and spend your 800 to 1000 any way you want. I am sure your eyes will be able to see the display and picture quality differences when you are staring at a 6 inch display........ Either way, if you feel like you are getting 300+ dollars of value, then enjoy it. Personally I fail to see how the Pixel 3 has warranted that large of a price jump from the 2.

Serious question.....how do you arrive at 550? There are phones out there for less than half of that money that will perform just fine.

Hoping to get the Pixel 3 XL, White, 128Gb. Super excited for the Pixel 3 though. Initially I hated the notch but there is so much screen real estate

I'm just working on my IT support person that I need a new phone then i'll be looking at the bigger XL

Not buying one. That was one of the worse product releases I have ever seen,do they even rehearse or come on stage prepared, and way of Google to raise the price for the regular sized pixel because they know the XL is not going to sell this year. I feel betrayed... It sounds like everything on the pixel 3 is coming to the pixel line so if you have a 2 why upgrade? Google blew it.

I disagree... I Like taking great pictures, that alone sold me...Specifically I can't wait to try the algorithm that enables digital zoom, that looked incredible.... If I'm dissatisfied, I'll give it to my daughter...I mean why not?

You can see the new features using the updated camera app from ApkMirror. It has the new carousel, raw mode and better panorama controls. Also new photo effects. I took a portrait selfie with it and changed it to color pop which made the background black and white and kept me in colour. 00100sPORTRAIT_00100_BURST20181010213610820_COVER~2.jpeg
