i cant log in to samsung health on a huawei p30 - are there known problems here?

when i put my log in details, it just hangs ... i really would like to continue using samsung health as it was great on my S9 and the Huawei health app is not good at all.... any advice/ recommendations or do i need a new phone?

I'm not sure if Samsung health works on other devices, but try clear it's,cache and force stop it.
