I can't reset notification bar and recent apps button on my s7edge

AC Question

After following directions to download NOVA launcher, I went into wizard-test-activities but when I went to 'welcome' my phone only said "unfortunately settings has stopped" I don't want to factory reset my phone as I will lose all of my data. What can I do? Help please
