I deleted all files in map "downloads" but it still has 2 gb in memory??? Please help

Map downloads shows 0 files but is 2,6 gb in memory

Welcome to Android Central! Which maps app are you referring to? Which phone? Are you using a file manager app? Is it that particular directory that says it's taking up 2.6 GB of storage, or is it a parent directory?
