I did it - V20 traded in for a new G6

Hey guys I finally recorded a video yesterday and the stabilization is actually way better than the V20. That was something I was most upset about.. I'm a content creator so that stung a bit. I'll continue to test it out on here.

I just saw a deal over on Ebay for the G6 and am wondering if I should get it??? I have the V20 but tempted to jump on this!!! What to do....

What does the G6 do for you that you can't do with the V20? That's what you have to ask yourself.

Welp, don't be so hard on Jeremiah, reason being I jumped to the s8+ and I couldn't be happier

Which ever works for you. They are virtually the same the only thing is, better wide angle.. you lose the battery replacement option but you gain water resistance.. Whatever fits your lifestyle better, I would say do it.

No DAC.... No Dice

Yeah I miss the DAC, but to be honest, I do most of my listening through Bluetooth, I don't miss it YET, but I loathe the day where I sit wired to the phone having to listen to my mp3s through Amazon Music lol

Honestly I was a little jealous of my wife's G5 always on display since I had the V10. I loooovve the second screen but I use Voxer everyday and it doesn't mesh well together.

Going to stick with the V20, I love the replacement battery too much and especially the sound!

For sure. You can not go wrong.

I am rather impressed by how this thing handles battery though.. I get a few extra mileage out if the G6 than I did with the V20

You still in love Jeremiah or is the honeymoon over yet?
I don't know if there was a honeymoon, it was like sneaking away with the sister and feeling naughty.. Hahaha jk

It's great, I've been at the pool for 2 hours now and no problem looking at my screen. I still don't like the curved corners, but I grabbed a black one so I can't tell.. I love the 13mp wide angle camera.

That's good to hear. I was by the T-Mobile store looking at cases and I again played with the G6 and it really does feel good in the hands (ladies, you know my information) and its quite the looker but I still don't have any regret not getting it.

LG is pretty consistent with making their two flagship lines comparable. The reason that made me not regret switching was the manual controls in video. They added that to the G series finally.

I played around with the G6 at my local T-Mobile store. And although it's very nice, it seemed a little thick to me. (Maybe I'm just acclimated to the feel of my V20)

It's a nice device, it really is. But like I've stated many times, I'm waiting for the V30.

Although I'm curious, being a 18:9 ratio, how do apps like You Tube, Netflix, etc, play on the screen? Does it take advantage of the space or are there plenty of "black bars".

I wonder if there will be many apps optimized for 18:9?
