The lag and glitches are really horrible. My friends had to reset the phone everytime in happens. Iphone is more optimized but still faces issues. I really do mean every single one of my friends and families had probs with them

My boyfriend's SE is glitching on him, too. He's wanting to switch to Android and I *may* be swaying him to The Green Side too. 😜

I'm in no way downing Android but the iPhone is indeed better optimized proof being it requires much less ram to give the same if not better performance with less frequently lag. That said like I said I'm not downing Android because I have pretty much decided that I'm going to get the Note 8 instead of the iPhone 8 from watching reviews on YouTube. Plus I'm really curious if I'll use the S pen as I've never owned a Note before. What I'm faced with now is whether I should return my honor for a refund if I get the Note 8. I can't decide because I really made a promise to myself to settle down to using only one device for the long term which will give me an extra $200 for accessories like a wireless charging doc, cases and a couple screen protectors. Then I'll get a $500 gift card from Xfinity for signing up plus another $200 gift card for getting a Samsung so right there will basically pay my phone off which is a great promotion. I've just got to decide whether or not I'll keep my honor 8 or not.

Since you didn't like the s8, I would advise against getting the note 8 which is mostly a larger s8 with a pen

Same here. All of my family comes to me with problems with iPhones

Hmm, I guess you have do have a point there. What I disliked most about the S8 was the 18.9 ratio. I was kind of hoping which I think it is that the Note 8 will indeed be wider than my regular size S8 which in that case I should be okay with it. Plus I can basically pay the entire phone off with gift card promotions. Yes you do make a great point though but one of the reasons I'm interested in the Note 8 is for the S pen. I think I'll end up using it a good bit to write out notes and mess around with quite often. I just have to decide whether I'll keep my Honor 8 or not getting the Note 8. A lot of me wants to but I promised myself I would settle down with one device for the long term. I'll have to get used to the huge size of the Note 8 though which will take a while I think. Probably a month or so.

Both have the same aspect ratio. Yes the note 8 is wider obviously but too wide for you, imo.

It's no doubt I big device but would fill my void of having a larger screen media device like I enjoy having. It makes the most sense to get it the Note 8 and keep my honor 8 but my promise to myself was that I would settle down with one device and use it long term so I feel like I would return my honor which would also give me an additional $200 to pay towards the new phone. I'm still considering the iPhone but honestly I want the iPhone 10 for it's larger screen size but they are back ordered forever. So my only three choices are the iPhone 8, iPhone 7 in the limited edition Red which only comes in 128g which is a plus or the Note 8. Xfinity does not have much to choose from. The iPhone 7 in Red appeals to me the most but it's now a dated phone which for Apple that really doesn't matter as updates will still be there for years. It's a little slower than the iPhone 8 and it's metal which I prefer. I'd probably actually go for it if I get the iPhone as there is really not a whole lot of difference between the 7 and 8. Plus the major factor is that I love Red so that would be the ultimate iPhone for me. So if I do get the iPhone the honor would definitely be returned and the $500 gift card and the $200 return from the honor would pay my phone off. Plus I think the Red iPhone 7 will retain resell value much better than the other models. Tough decision overall. Hopefully I'll choose the best one as right now I'm just totally not sure which model I'll get if it even works out for that matter which I won't know until Wednesday.

But the note 8 isn't great for multimedia due to the 18x9 aspect ratio.

Yes that is a concern of mine but on the other hand it's wider than the S8 plus so perhaps it may not appear to be as narrow as the ratio suggests. I'd have to handle it in person and if I don't get to do that before I order then I'll probably opt for the iPhone then return my house or 8 making my new iPhone my long term device which is likely what I should do being that I prefer IOS over Android. I'd definitely have to get an iPad for media though as the 4.7 inch screen of the iPhone won't cut it.

I'm afraid to ask, but how many phones have you owned in the past 12 months? (-:

Definitely try out the note 8 in person before making a decision
