I got my Xoom upgraded to 4G, who else got there's?

it annoys me but does not concern me, I expected it to be a cluster-f....
they cant ask everyone to send in their xoom's and really expected it to go smoothly..

your not treated like second rate customers, your treated like crap, just as everyone else.

That doesn't annoy and concern you at all? That is not how a well managed upgrade process is handled.

As for how much this upgrade is costing moto... I honestly don't care. Some of us paid 800 bucks for them and the upgrade was promised and delayed. We should be treated as premium customers who are in fact early adopters. If we want to be treated as second rate customers we should have just bought an iP@d. Hahaha. :)

Well at least they seem to be moving it along now. My biggest concern was the lack of valid info. Soon it will be out of their hands. I have no love for fedex but I'll honestly feel better once it's in their hands.

Well, I got a tracking number but, when I click on it, the Fedex site said "not found" I guess they haven't updated their system yet. At first I thought the delay was because I forgot to include the packing list but, it seems that everyone else is delayed also.

It will probably come on Friday when I'm at work LOL!! At least I know I'll be getting it this week because, I can go pick it up at Fedex after a certain time.

That's what my tracking issue says. So they'll have to try to deliver it and fail the first time at least before you can go pick it up. Mine still says anticipated pickup today with tomorrow delivery. We shall see. The last time I got a tracking number like this was for the box to ship it back in. And that didn't work out so well. Nonetheless, tomorrow or Thursday...as long as it's before the weekend. I just want it back.

Yeah, I was saying that I would pick it up, with the assumption that the first delivery attempt would fail. I still have a "not found" on the Fedex site so, I'm assuming I won't get it until Friday, judging by how everyone else's are being delivered.

Hopefully I can pick it up after work, I've done that with other stuff before and, the Fedex office that they leave things at, is right down the street from were I work.
 
Is everyone getting new FedEx numbers? I know a lot of the people here getting numbers are getting them for the first time. However curious about those of us who've had tracking number since last week; anyone getting new ones?

Sweet. Good luck! I hope we all get them back this week. My fedex tracking info hasn't changed. If it's like the tracking info they gave me for the initial box shipment, I'll receive the Xoom long before the tracking info is updated.

I am too Mike. :( I'm also getting more upset by the day with this delay too. I'm actually off this morning, so I'm off to the local Verizon Wireless store to price their other 4G LTE tablets. You know the ones that arrived at the Verizon store with 4G LTE. The ones that beat out the "innovative" Motorola Xoom.

Still no updates from Motorola for my Xoom. Given their lack of organization on this, I'm actually wondering if they even did the upgrade last week like the tracker claims.

Wow, I can't believe Motorola still has not returned so many Xooms. Maybe they found a bug, and they want to get it resolved before they return the rest. Maybe Verizon complained that they were shipping them back so quick that they didn't have time to activate the service. Maybe they just have their heads so far up their butts, as usual, and it's just a normal day at Motorola.

The bug is Motorola. They are incompetent.

I just got off the phone with a snobby Motorola escalation person. I was also given a different toll free number to call with a new reference number. Apparently, the tracker that we have to track our devices is bogus. It is not functioning as it should be.

More than likely, my device hasn't even been upgraded yet. One of the things that this "supervisor" told me is that she thinks they have received so many devices they are overwhelmed with actually completing the upgrades.

In order for her to get a status update on my device she has send a message requesting a status and that can take 48 hours to receive a response.

This is one of the disadvantages I think to big M contracting out with another company to handle the upgrade.

This whole upgrade is one big crock of feces. For those of you who were lucky enough to get your devices returned already. Be glad you got in prior to the influx of these devices being received in IL.

This is why I'm happy I got a FedEx tracking number so that I can ACTUALLY track the status of my shipment back. Of course, until FedEx RECEIVES it to ship I'm still at the mercy of a useless, broken tracking site. Insane. Truly insane. Nonetheless, I do think you're in worse shape unfortunately. The fact that it takes _2 days_ to get an actual status???? Come on. No one anywhere should be calling this upgrade process successful. I don't care if they shipped them back in 24 hours, the fact that there's inconsistent and flat out WRONG information as any part of this process needs to be addressed.

The supervisor hung up on me when I started laughing when she said that Motorola was handling this in a professional manner.

All I know is that I'm out of my device for the foreseeable future while Motorola and its contractor work at pulling their heads out of their collective rectums.

The only difference between this delay and all of the other delay's we have suffered through with this joke of a company is that before I had my $800 device. Right now I do not.
