Atlanta, Georgia area.
Been running stock, SW 1.12-whatever, and waited out the other updates. Downloaded over 4G this morning while out for my AM walk. DL was very fast, less than "3 houses." Install took most of a lap around my block, and there were at least 3 reboots, about 8 - 10 minutes total.
Took an extra minute (it seemed) to get a 4G icon, and when I tried a speed test, the data icon dropped out, then 3G came back up. Going into the Wireless & Networks, and cycling to CDMA Only then back to CDMA/LTE cleared that right up. Still getting good, strong 4G inside my house. Speed Test was 27.39 down, 5.7 up; the fastest I have ever had before was 31+ down (with a 4.9 up), but usually get around 18 - 20 down, and down around 10 -11 down when the system is loaded up.
GPS lock was fast, but I have had fast GPS lock lately anyway.
My Verizon app - finally, but it seems to be a slowpoke loading info. The data usage widget is cool, but frankly, I would rather have a voice usage widget, since that's our limiting factor right now.
I had no involuntary reboots before, so hopefully that will stay "reduced."
I like the change in the Thunderbolt boot screen, much less annoying.
I had just copied some sound files to my SD card last night, and made some new notification sounds (if you have an old Microsoft Arcade 3.5 floppy, and can still read it, there are some .wav files after you install it). All my notification sounds stayed. (Anybody know where i can get a "Clean" copy of the DC Metro door closing "bell"?)
In addition to the #BAL, #MIN, you also have a "Global Support" and "Warranty Center" number on the SD card now, too.
I wasn't using Mobile Hotspot / Mobile Internet before, so I have no idea now.
