I have 2 target apps in the app drawer

So I just seen yesterday that I have 2 target app icons in my app drawer. If I click on either 1 it takes me to the target app. Does anyone know why it shows two icons?

One of them may be a widget. Check the properties of each. Good luck

Strange to see 2 in the app drawer if you delete one does the other delete?

Could be 2 versions of the same app. Check the properties of each and see if there is a difference.

I wonder if you sign in on 1 does it show that you are signed in on the other.

So when I Uninstall 1 it un-installs both. In settings>apps>it only shows 1 target app.

No I'm not. Also ran the built in malware scanner from samsung and nothing

I have this same behavior as of a recent Target app update, and I'm on a Pixel 7. Also not on 14.

I was wondering if one was like a fake app trying to steal information but after the scan it says my phone is clean

I'm also on 2023.41.0; suspect it's an issue with that recent update.

I would still try different version because your on a different device
