I have a G4, you have questions — ask away!

Is it easy/difficult to process RAW images on the phone, or would it be better to use a desktop/laptop? I know Photoshop & other graphic tools are available for Android, however I'm not familiar with them.

A few questions:

1) did LG again limit which apps are usually with dual window mode? Are all apps usable in dual window or can you select which apps are usable? Is the list when activating dual window I'm alphabetical order?

2) is Q Slide still gimped by LG limiting which apps are compatible with it? Any additional apps added to Q Slide such as Hangouts or Keep?

3) did mini view (swipe navigation bar to shrink the screen) make it back in?

4) can you change the style of softkeys like you could with the G3 before it got Lollipop?

5) and, finally, how hot does it run? Compared to the G3, of course.

On the s4, i use two features a lot, the dual window feature, where i constantly use the samsung notepad, and the toggles in the dropdown menu for sound mode, wifi, data, and so on. even went so far as to root mine to get the wifi toggle back into the dropdown menu cause it wasn't in it for some reason.

Does the G4 have anything like the s4 dropdown toggles and dual window, with the notepad built in? I really don't like to take up real-estate on the screen for things that can be accessed via a swipe from the top or side.

it's OK, you can call it better ... the S6 camera is a beast. on another level

I hope that's sarcasm. In that example the LG is way better. Nothing but noise from the S6. Even the black of the bike is full of noise.

Not saying this would ever come up, just showing a down side to the finger print scanner, your fingerprint can be used to unlock your phone if you are detained by law enforcement, but your unlock code cannot.

LOL. And you know you can change a pass code if it is compromised, but you can't change your fingerprint!

Neither look that good. The only thing is that you could shoot Raw on the G4 and fix it by not smearing everything with noise reduction.

True. I wasn't necessarily saying that the G4 produced a great image. Just that it looks better than the S6. I mean, I'd hate to see what it'd look like if I took that shot on my M9. Haha!

There's no WiFi toggle on the S6 pulldown settings? Really?

So they talked about the screen being new technology in touch ....notice anything different?

can you do some side-by-side comparison photos of the FRONT-facing cameras on the G4 and S6?

THANKS! :)

I know someone else asked this but I dont think I saw an answer to it but is the battery the same as the G3 battery? IE if I have an extra battery for my G3 should I keep it or sell it with my G3.....

a somewhat related question.... am I correct in assuming that
the G4 does NOT have some kind of ultra power-saving mode
like the recent Samsung phones?(S5, Note 4, S6)

Here you go!

If you uncheck all of the quick settings, does the bar disappear?

Also, unrelated to the quote, a few more questions.

Does the phone put out a lot of heat when it's in use, and/or does it throttle the processor a lot?
Do you have a comprehensive list of all the preinstalled apps, from LG, T-Mobile, and others?
How would you compare performance on the homescreen and in specific apps (does Chrome stutter as much on an S6 as it does on your G4, etc.)?
Are there featured you've found on the phone that LG didn't advertise?

What bands does the phone support? The T-Mobile version.

Again, full auto. I'm going to spend some time with the manual mode and the RAW camera options to see what happens later today.

That is the coolest pen I have ever seen, got anymore?
As far as the pictures go I think LG is better, can't wait to test it out.

i have a g3, and my biggest gripe has been with auto-brightness which does not work as it should, it just dims way too much, how does g4 compare to that, could you post a side-by-side screenshots of g3 and g4 with auto-brightness_(in low light if possible), does g4 overheat alot?, hows the in-game performance and hows the battery after youve played a game for like 5 minutes? and is the ui snappy, g3 lags alottttt

i hope you answer these questions, cheers :)
