Hi there Is the double tap to wake feature supposed to work when you tap anywhere on screen or is it at certain points? I have to find certain points on screen for it to work. Double tap to sleep works anywhere onscreen though which is weird.... And my knock code works perfectly when the screen is asleep too. Any suggestions for the double tap to wake?

1) did LG again limit which apps are usually with dual window mode? Are all apps usable in dual window or can you select which apps are usable? Is the list when activating dual window I'm alphabetical order?

2) is Q Slide still gimped by LG limiting which apps are compatible with it? Any additional apps added to Q Slide such as Hangouts or Keep?

3) did mini view (swipe navigation bar to shrink the screen) make it back in?

I'm interested in the answers to the questions.

I'm torn on this phone... i like alot of things about it, but am mainly concerned about the lack of fingerprint reader, especially with fingerprint support being built into M in the future.

What are your thoughts on this HW issue? Will we be missing out on alot of further integration features of the finger print sensor (beyond just unlocking the phone - which knock on can be equated with)?

If you want the FP scanner, i suggest grabbing a phone with one. Especially if that is your Main concern.

4) can you change the style of softkeys like you could with the G3 before it got Lollipop?

5) and, finally, how hot does it run? Compared to the G3, of course.

1. Yes. Mainly LG and some Google apps. Compared to Samsung N4 & N4E, LG doesn't have too many apps that support dual window mode. I'll need to check again; but at first look, not too many apps.

2. I saw it on Calculator....

4. Styles? Besides a black or white background and adding 2 different other options...that's it.

5. Compared to the G3, much much faster and smoother. The screen is a much better too. Speeds compared to the N4 and N4E are much faster too. Some of the games I've tested run faster and smoother on the G4.

In the camera app, hit settings (looks like a gear or cog ) , then hit the icon next to hdr (should be a rectangle with 16x9 in it)

This opens the picture resolutions and slo mo is to the left

Thanks for answering questions! Does the LG G4 voice recorder work with audio input from a bluetooth headset? Do any of the notepad apps work with voice to text input from a bluetooth mic rather than the phone mic?

Just tried he myself, as your watching the video tap on the screen and a up and down button with a number between them (1/8, 1/4 etc) and you use those to slow it down or speed it up. Hope that helps.

anyone having issues with the calendar not showing all birthdays from contacts? i've selected birthdays to show, as well as clearing the calendar storage and resyncing, but i'm still missing some birthdays. i'm also pulling the contacts from microsoft rather than google. any help would be appreciated!

Is G4 user-friendly? How does it compared to iPhone 6?

We could spend all day discussing this one question! For people not used to smart phones the learning curve for iPhone is shorter, it could be argued.
If new to smart phones get the one - G4 or iPhone - that your friends most willing to help you with knows best.
I suggest you try both.
