I read a review saying expandable notifications don't work on the G4. Truth?

Some reviews state that expandable notifications only work in lockscreen. I'd think LG would fix this issue in a software update.

Expandable notifications work on lock screen and on the notification shade. I have a g4 in hands and live in korea. They work.

I have 2 questions. 1. My G3 overheated badly until it got 5.0. Any overheating on the G4?
2. Playing music on my G3 with head phones is a great experience. Does the G4 perform as well?

Regarding #1 I can state that the G4 does not over heat like the G3. It got a little warm the first day when I was setting it up but I haven't noticed it again after 48 hours of hard use I used to have to let my G3 cool down after moderate use

I've never have a problem with my g3 overheating. Even with lollipop.

What apps do you run when it overheats? What carrier? I always assumed that overheating G3's were defective.

That is normal for almost all smartphones especially with big screens and powerful processors.

Expected, but some people mention their G3's run hot when doing nothing. Something is definitely wrong in those instances - defective hardware or software tweak needed.

hi Russel... one quick quest... i have received my G4 yesterday... whenever i charge the phone (after being switched off), it would switch back on and charge it. of course it would let me switch off manually again. but is it normal for the G4 to power back on when being connected to the charger/ any USB outlet?

Exactly, batt level briefly, then turns itself on right?....... so i guess thats normal
