Hello AC world!

I've had my TMobile LG G4 for about 1.5 weeks now. Love it to death. Had the LG G3 for about a year as well. I'm having issues with the double tap to zoom feature. Anything that I used double tap on such as instagram to like photos, double tap to zoom in the gallery and Facebook does not work at all. It wasn't working with or without my screen protector on. I've been browsing around to see if anyone else has the issue and can't seem to find anything on it. Please help

So I got this phone today and after the initial headache of setting it up the way I like, I noticed that some words get a gray box around them and if i click on them, it suggests an emoji. Not only is this the stupidest feature I've ever seen, but I can't seem to turn it off. I went into keyboard settings and unclicked the box that reads "suggest emoticons wor words typed". After that didn't work, i turned off suggestions completely, that also didn't work. I even restarted the phone, and left the messaging app for a while to let it figure itself out. But it's still there. Am I in the wrong place or do you think there is something wrong wiith it?

What is the max cpu temp before overheating the G4?
Because of me used as gps front in glass on my car and was very hot day and no aircool to test it, the phone show me message to protect for overheating must disabled.
Then i see the cpu temp and it was 58 celsius.
If the limit is 58-60 Celsius i thing is small if you think the 88celsius on G3.

The quickmemo is a nice feature, but when I set it to the capacitive button for quick launch, it always defaults to a yellow page and stylus drawing activated. Is there a way to set a new default memo so it's like a normal post it note app? I don't use a stylus and I don't want to have to change the paper style and text each time I open the app. Thanks!!

it's not fast when scroll down/up menu and right/left apps pages like Oneplus one!!
i use Google now Launcher bs still not fast
can make it fast?

I have a LG G4 that bought from Hong Kong on 4th June 2015, I found that the LG G4 battery drains very fast with moderate usage of FB and whatapps.
It drains about 15~20% per hour.
After turn off the GPS, WIFI and LTE, it's still drains about 10~15% per hour.
Appreciate if someone can provide a better solution.

I just got a G4 yesterday, coming from G2. Where is the sandwich looking menu/settings button on the Home Touch button options?

I really like this on my G2 and miss it on the bigger G4 screen.

Hi Russell, I purchased a LG G4 H815. I tried to activate it for metro pcs but they said even though it may be used for t mobile the dealer couldn't set the APN settings manually as he said it wouldnt acknowledge the 4LTE setting. I looked on tmobile and they stated I needed model version H811;

Your phone can update to software version H81110h:

Review the Software versions & updates: LG G4
Starting June 10-TBD, you may be prompted to update.
To update now, see how to from a computer.
Other versions

Your phone has non-T-Mobile software, and it is unsupported. The manufacturer and T-Mobile cannot update your software.


Above is what I found online. Basically its telling me I need LG G4 H8110d version of tmobile phone LG G4 not Lg-H815

I suggest you try both.

Great point! We got my mom a Windows 7 computer, even though a lot of people said a Mac might be easier for a First Timer to learn. Why? Because I, and most of our family, don't know squat about the Apple OS, and wouldn't be able to help her.

Thinking of changing from the g2 to the g4. When i swipe down on the top notification area on my g2 I can do the same exact swipe motion to bring it back up. <br />
This doesn't seem to work on the g4..<br />
I really like that feature since I can take a quick glance at the notifications.. <br />
Any ideas?<br/>

Hello Russell,

Having a problem with my new lg G4 when using hands free calling. The Voice Command feature doesn't work when I press the hands free button on my car Bluetooth. All of my previous phones this feature worked with no problem. With my G4, the voice command does not work at all through my Bluetooth. I also tried LGs Voice Mate app- it only works if phone is on, unlocked, I click on the voice mate icon, and then press the microphone button. This obviously defeats the purpose of hands free Bluetooth while driving. I've never had this issue with another phone- I just press the hands free calling button, say "Call John", and it just works. Now with my new G4, no luck. I love the phone, but this is a major problem. Any suggestions?
NOTE: the blue tooth connection works perfectly, it is just waking the phone up through voice command after pushing my hands free button that doesn't work.
