When the phone is on its back, does the camera module (more specifically the glass) rub on a flat surface? I have a history of scratching the lens on my phones when I do not use a case.

The camera is raised a bit, so no scratch concerns unless you're typing while the phone is on its back.

The Qi charging option currently is only in the "Flip" circle view case. Would you expect 1st or 3rd part charging backs without the annoying "flip" cover?

I don't have a TMO Moto here, but service is always quite strong in my area. Will need to travel to some of the weaker signal areas to test it.

Though call. I think I'd be more likely to consider just a bumper with this phone, were I to use a case at all. I'm one of those fools who wanders around caseless with the S6 edge

You can still go into numerical strength mode to measure dBm vs another phone. My g3 was consistently better than the iPhone 5s,I haven't checked my wife's 6.
