Wow, so many questions, so little time! :S
OK... which one feels 'better'? Does the curved screen really make it that much different or is it just (yet another) gimmick?
Well considering there isn't a whole lot you do with the curve, it's hard to say either way. The S6 edge just acts like any other phone most of the time, and happens to do a few cool things with swipes on the curve when you're on the home screen. I'd say the fact that it does less makes it
less of a gimmick, actually, because what it does do is actually useful — it's not trying too hard.
Is the system snappy and responsive? How much free space is there in the 32GB model? (Head explodes with the rest of the questions).
Seems responsive so far — particularly launching apps and using the Recents menu, which has often been an issue on Samsungs. A few apps have had some jitters, but can't put my foot down on that performance just yet.
23.5GB free on the 32GB model after signing into a Google account and going through setup. I installed all of my usual apps and knocked another 8GB or so off of that.
Thanks Andrew. One quick question, are there more than the 3 themes installed out of the box?
There are 3 themes, with another 10 or so in the store.
One more -- if it was your personal daily driver, which one would you choose?
Thanks
Too early to tell. Been leaning toward the regular GS6 since day 1 when i used it before MWC.
