I have a Nexus 4, you have questions. Fire away.

Can i create a single bookmarks list that's scrollable like i had on my iphone? If not how can i reduce my bookmark folders down to just one. Thanks in advance

So I got my device and I noticed this serial code tape on the back side and I've never seen anything like this on the internet. Can I just rub it off or what should I do? It's kinda annoying me.

The serial code is attached to the factory film on the back. Once you peel that off, the code will come with it.

Hi Phil, I'm new to forum so I hope I wont ask any stupid questions. Just read all the questions and answers below - riveting !!
Do you find it taxing?

New Nexus 4 ? A great phone !! and definetly value for money and after-sale service from Google very good !!

My question Phil ! is there any form of security defices built into the N4. i.e alarm system? My wife has one of those Doro phones and she can set up a security system on her phone. Are there apps that can do the same job? Yours Kitbenn

Hi Josh,

I'm new to forum but I think I can help you regarding your question. Yes, there is an app you can download. A very good one - MP3. Go to Google play store and download Hi_QMP3 Recorder. You will be more than happy with it . All the best. KitBenn !!

You could also just peel off the little sticker. I did that.

Anyone happen to have login info for T-Mobile's network (through APN)? I'm on Straight Talk's T-Mobile sim and I'm trying to get LTE to work. When trying to use the T-Mobile LTE APN, it asks me to sign into the network. Anyone got anything?

My first question is did you update to 4.2.2? I read an article about the update killing off the radio.

Here's one of many articles discussing this: http://www.tomshardware.com/news/Nexus-4-LTE-Band-Hack-Update,21097.html

If you haven't updated to 4.2.2, then I must ask, are you in an area that has T-Mobile LTE coverage?

I updated to 4.2.2 and flashed the .33 radio from 4.2.1. It broke in-call audio so I had to flash CM10.1 to work.

I'm in Vegas and caught a test run LTE signal when I was on T-Mobile's $30 prepaid. Screenshot was from 2/13/13 and the closest server it let me use was Kansas.

synced my music from pc to my new Nexus 4. 3 gig worth. Does not show up in the play music, get a no music on device message. read about the same issue with others. It's on the phone but it seems to be stuck in the sd card and will not play. Have downloaded 4 different apps rescan sd, rescan media etc.none of them work. When I plug it back into the pc they are all there and I can play them from the phone, but it simply will not find them or play them. Any suggestions?

Play Music is a cloud based music player. You have to install the software on your computer, designate a folder with all your music in it and it will automatically upload them to the cloud. Then the play music app on your phone would be able to stream it from the cloud.

Total noob question...I upgraded to 4.2.2 when the update came out...if I do a factory reset, will it go back to 4.2.1?

Thanks.

Got my N4 last Friday. Decided to go with Solavei even though I'd be going with TM service but I contacted straight talk and they did not have the Sim cards available for ATT sevice and nor did Walmart whom you can sign up with straight talk. In reviewing the prepaid plans I liked to the unlimited data with Solavei. I got on their website, signed up specifying I needed the micro Sim card And wanted to port my current phone number from Verizon. Did that last Saturday evening and got my Sim card in the mail yesterday. Went on the website again last night and did the actual activation. Had to give them my Verizon account number and PIN/password to port the phone number. Everything took maybe 15-20 minutes and I was online on my new N4. They tell you porting the phone number can take up to 24 hours to complete. While I was able to call out on the N4 right away I did not start getting calls in on it till this afternoon.

Overall the activation process went real smooth with Solavei and the S4. The S4 itself is smooth.....! The performance of my vz nexus running cm cannot standup to this N4. I'm running stock android to go with my stock N7 an just love it. I can see the TMo data service in my area on Solavei I see already is going to be bad compared to what I had on vz, but the way I use data, I don't think its going to be a big issue and a good trade off to get the phone I really wanted and with updates when Google puts them out! Come on Key Lime Pie !!

Hi Phil, I have a NEXUS 4 and live in Spain. Is there any way that I can access the UK Play Store instead of the Spanish one? All the best Paul

Is there a way to go back to 4.2.1 once I have 4.2.2? If so, is there a guide for it? Want to use the LTE functionality again...

Thanks.
