So YouTube HQ works over 3g as well but takes longer yo load? How much longer compared to the 4g demo's Sprint has been showing at their events?

no much longer at all. The only real difference is that over 4g and wifi youtube defaults to HQ. Which is BS its should be HQ all the time. I'm wondering if they did this to say hey see how much better it looks but like I said I get the same quality on my pre.

I am not too sure it should be HQ all the time. 3G is relatively slow when compared to Wifi and 4G, so it depends on the size of the video. I know on the Pre I would sometimes default it to lower quality just to see it load faster (I think it has the option, haven't really used the app that much)

I know. I was responding to the doc's post about how it should be set to HQ even on 3G. Still it's nice to have the option.

Note:
It does have a form of a Flash Player, but not adobe flash
Flash files work (games, ads), but not a lot of video does (no hulu, porn-as mentioned)

Also, the screen has been reported to be glass. It should stand up well to scratches.

You can't compare things you see on WinMo (HD2) to Android. Someone asked if upcoming appointments and alarms show up under the clock and weather. As the pictures show, no, they don't. There are widgets for that and the one that comes with HTC Sense for Android is pretty sweet (appointments, none for alarm). There is a calendar, bot big and small, and an agenda style with 2.1 Sense.

did you guys go over the battery life? I saw where he said that it look a long time to charge (possibly because of playing with it while it's charging?), but how's the battery life in the real world?

didn't get a chance to really test battery life and it take a long time to charge period. I can use my pre and charge with hour and half. I have to charge and maybe jus checking it and it took forever just to get to 50% hopefully it was just this unit.

@doc31 I pre-ordered from BB. I like the EVO but, like you, I am very fond of WebOS. If palm had updated hardware, preferably a larger screen, I would get that over the EVO. As of now I am hopping on the EVO bandwagon.

Sassy Lina its me preman haha! How are you? I feel the same way as you to the T! Web os is superb but its the crappy hardware and lack of apps that is making me jump ship. Let's go EVO!

You were also using it while it was charging, and not only just listenting to music, but doing other things. Its also a big battery and going to take longer to charge.

They left it with the Touch pro 2 as in it has it or did you mean to say they left it out of ther TP2? Cause I have one and didn't think it did that.

thanks for the reply i was hoping it'd be like the Mogul with different LED colors for each type of notification but they left it with the Touch Pro and Touch Pro2
