Have you tried this device with Wi-fi? How was the speeds?
I can tell you any questions related to the Evo and speed will always have a positive response....
to answer you question....FAST

Have you tried this device with Wi-fi? How was the speeds?
doc,
did you try remote desktop by any chance ? Not that I really expect that you did , but just on an off chance perhaps....
ALso , how was the rendering of web pages ...? fast and if so what browser were you using?
Besides the insidious slow charging of the battery , were there anything else that kind of bothered/irked/worried you about the evo?
doc31/Keith Newman - how does the thickness of the device feel. I held the HD2 and it felt pretty slim, I know the EVO is slightly thicker so just wondering if it feels pretty thin or just average.
It feels just as slim as an HD2, just really really wide... at least coming from the Pre / Hero.
Major learning curve for me but I welcome the increased real estate for browsing / video.
"Most users ever online was 2,830, Yesterday at 12:55 PM."
because of you Doc.
The screen is like the Hero's, maybe a little firmer when you press it. Actually, I can't tell if it's glass or lexan to be honest. It repels smudging as well as the Hero too. I was worried because in videos, it doesn't seem that way.
Is the screen large/precise enough to select/place text with just a finger?
dude if its glass its glass WTF it feels the same as Pre. The screen on the iphone feels different ....if you care that much wait until June 4th and find out for your self.
Hahahahhahah! That person that keeps asking about the screen is annoying..
Did it feel like the Incredible's screen too? That has some torture test videos out. The HD2 does as well, assuming THC left the that screen in place.
I was wondering the same thing. Is this device TOO wide for one handed operation? texting?
Okay Keith, per your recommendation, I am going to order one of these today so I can use it with my Evo!
I am trusting you here that this will fit and work 100% ii
Since you confirmed this, I wish they would update the store to list the Evo for use with these batteries.

Anyone know of an external charger for these batteries?
Yes, imo it's closer to the Incredible than the Pre (slightly more give I think)... truthfully I think it's just hard plastic like lexan, I didn't do the flick test but it's probably plastic because it seemed to have the same treatment the Hero has to it that allows for smooth finger movements unlike the Samsung Moment.
