I have an LG V20 that I'm not allowed to review. Let's talk about it anyway.

I know LG boasts a lot of manual stuff for the camera pros but how do you feel the camera will perform for a "point and click" type of photo-taker?

Honestly, it takes fantastic photos in Auto mode. I've spent most of my time with the phone like that, and it's really good at exposing the scene properly and taking great shots. The real takeaway here is how much extra IQ went into making the phone's two sensors work well with one another.

Could you tell us about battery life?

I'm using a pre-production unit, so I can't vouch for it completely, but it's been solid for me so far. You can expect a full day from it — nothing special, but then again you can replace the battery and have an extra one charged at all times, which it nice.

How is the main camera in low light? Does it generate a lot of noise, compared to other phones? (Galaxy S7/iPhone 7)

Any drops/scratches so far? Damage prone areas (like that rear camera that's sticking out)? Catching dirt/fingerprints easily?

Camera is good, not great, in low light. Feels about as good as the GS6/iPhone 6s, not necessarily as good as the GS7/iPhone 7 Plus. Hope that helps!

Does it get really hot like the G5 after looking at a few webpages? My G5 is very hot once you start browsing, using the stock chrome browser.

Haven't noticed any heat coming off the Snapdragon 820. It's a much bigger phone than the G5, though, so the heat should disperse more easily as a result.

Sounds good. I am definitely not a pro with cameras so I just like to be the point-and-click person :D.

Recording quality using gain/manual controls?

What's the screen quality like vs an HTC m8 or m9?

I can't wait to see one in person

How is the screen brightness compared to the Note7? I saw your comment above that indicated the the Note beat it in sunlight but what about indoors? Is it almost as bright as the Note?
