I have an LG V20 that I'm not allowed to review. Let's talk about it anyway.

This is my question now that you have used it . Is it worth $830.00 that they are asking. I'm thinking no but haven't seen it o used it yet.

Now having used the Pixel, I'd say probably not. It seems that Sprint and T-Mobile's versions are slightly cheaper, though, so that's good. It's definitely a great phone at $700, not $830.

Have you had any time with the Pixel or Pixel XL? If so, how would you compare the feel of them physically? Is one more comfortable than the other?

The V20 is big — really big — even compared to the Pixel XL. I definitely like the build quality, and think it's a big improvement over the G5, but because of the removable battery door there are seams. I'd say the Pixel XL is slightly more comfortable to hold, but not by a lot.

For reference:

V20 --- 6.29 x 3.07 x 0.30 inches (screen = 5.7")
PXL --- 6.09 x 2.98 x 0.34 inches (screen = 5.5")

Given LG's funky release timing and people already reviewing with demos, my guess is nobody would take an embargo seriously ;) The only embargo seems to be the time it takes to get the reviewers the devices and the time it takes the reviewer to review and publish. Might see some more "aggressive" reviewers publishing as early as tomorrow ;) I guess that's a joke...

lets talk about it, rather ask me if you will about how it performs. i got mine early, and legally through my carrier. heres all i will show.THIS IS NO DEMO.

Reviews are embargoed, but those are for retail units. Any reviews you've seen out there so far were done with full knowledge they were evaluating pre-production models, with unfinished hardware and software.

I'm a current (and soon to be former) owner of a Note 7. I've looked really hard for something that gives me a non banned phone but with all the features I know and love. First, I'll live without the stylus. That's only a Note thing, and Samsung, to be plain, has lost my allegiance. The Edge functionality is handy, but not a big deal G deal. It's a nifty trick. One thing that surprised me how quickly I took to the type C USB. I'd read that other C plugs were not fully functional. Is the V20 sporting the fully functional type C connection?
Also, how useful is that secondary screen? Or is it a new trick to try and woo the casual onlooker.
Lastly, right now the V20 looks to be my next phone. Anything else I should consider (encouragements? Warnings?) before I take the plunge?
I know that's a lot. Sorry... And Thanks!

Hearing mixed answers to this question, but does Nougat run Pokemon Go well? I'm planning on buying an LG V20 because of the removable battery and the split screen but would be very sad if my Pokemon app didn't work on Nougat. If you don't play, no problem, maybe someone else does and knows the answer.

Had all flagships and my v20 is a combo of iphone 7 plus, s7edge, note 7 and lg g5. Usb is full functional.the mini screen is just animated title bar menu. Get a case for it...............camera sticks out a little.

What has the battery life been like so far?

No one did a 1080p or 720p Hi10 video encoded flac audio encoded test on the phone for me yet haha =( Just wanted to see if it can play video fine without pixelation/buffering... oh well I guess I find out if I pick it up
