I have an S8+ with no wifi calling option. Can I switch it on?

My S8+ is from 3uk. All new 3 phones are wifi capable without having to switch the option on in settings.
So if you put a 3 sim you get wifi calling automatically.
Thing is I want to use my S8+ with a TMobile sim from the states.
There is no wifi calling option anywhere in settings.
Is there some hidden setting that anyone knows of so it'll appear?
Or indeed any other work around?

As far as I know, WiFi calling has to be enabled from the carrier. You won't have the option enabled or any way of enabling it if the carrier does not support it. As you have already mentioned that you have t-mobile and I am using WiFi calling on same network, I would think your issue might relate to incompatibility between t-mobile and your particular handset. Do you have the t-mobile app on your phone? If not, get that and see if you can enable WiFi calling from inside that app. Let me know how that goes.

I've got a sim free s8 plus and using a Three sim it and like you been searching every setting there is trying to find it. Are T-Mobile in the US the same as EE here? If so I read online that EE will let non EE phones still use Wi-Fi calling.

Only other option is to Flash T-mobile or EE version software on your phone using Odin to activate the setting
