I have looked and looked and I can't figure out how to save a picture that was sent as a text.

When I double tap the picture, it just opens in it's own window. I can't get any of the hard keys to work except to go home or back.

Please help. I don't want to lose the picture of my dog that my girlfriend took.

I have an EVO and when I get a picture mail, I single click it and get an option to save it or open it. I haven't tried double clicking it, so maybe that function is set to automatically open the file. Try a single click, that works for me!

What phone are you using? What version of Android is running? Do you have a SD card installed? I was thinking that you may either 1) not have a SD card installed, or 2) your SD card is not recognized by the phone. This could be a reason as to why you are not getting a save option when opening the file.

don't know bout double tapping, but long press will usually pop up a menu of options..
