I lost all of my download on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, how can I get them back?

Android 4.4.2 on Samsuing Galaxy Tab S 10.5: ALL downloads are LOST

Have had this unit since Dec 2014. All files downloaded to "downloads" directory are always lost. What [Edited by Moderator] is up with these moronic developers ?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you only looking using the Downloads app, or are you also using the MyFiles app or some other file manager to look directly in the Download directory?

Where are you downloading from? Is it mostly from websites using the browser?

Try going to the App Manager, select Download Manager, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Close. Now try again.
