I Love my Galaxy Nexus; no really I do!

love mine.....no reboots, no signal issues, awesome battery life......I did have the mic cutout twice...but not in the last three weeks......all in all the best phone Ive ever owned.

I love love love my Nexus. Only phone i loved in a comparable way is my DroidX...... what can i say, I don't have the problems that others experience with their phones, and i'm sorry for that they do because it's such a nice phone.

So glad i dumped my Bionic...

sounds like "an Ode to Nexus"

My Gnex has been great. With 4.0.3 ROM's is was improved and with the new leaked 4.0.4 It's been even better. Stock battery lasts way longer than on 4.0.2. I can go the full work day without any issues and still have enought life in it. I prefer the extended battery feel so I'm more than happy with the phone. The phone is leaps and bounds above the Inc I had.

Me to it was a very s***y phone super thick camera sucked ect.

For what it can do $6 is cheep but I just haven't taken the time to figure it out yet.

Tasker is very cool. You can download many of the 'tasks' from their support site and use with very little set up. The community has done a nice job of publishing the most common types of uses. Writing your own programs can be more tricky.

What are some that you use on your nexus?

None of the more common issues here . My only complaint is when I play audio over Bluetooth the sounds skips at times. Hopefully 4.0.4 fixes this. All in all Im very happy with my choice.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to say I love my Galaxy Nexus. Yes, I hate the camera. Yes, the Exynos process was better. Yes, that 4.65 screen isn't really effective 4.65 (only for movies), yes, I have a stupid mic issue that drives my friends made and might potentially cause me to lose a 6 figure salary job (potential phone interview). Yes, my battery sucks balls.

But seriously, its a GALAXY NEXUS!!!! I loved my Nexus S and I love my galaxy nexus. I haven't not once rooted my Epic 4G touch but the GN community, i have flash a rom 3 times a week. Kernel updates twice a week. And it makes my phone better and better.

So yes, I don't mind carrying a better camera for pictures. I don't mind getting some LAN line phone for my job interview call.

What else am I gonna pick up? A RAZR?! LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!! child please.

Oh my god!!! Your scales of justice are so twisted!!!

LOL Yeah, but I like his/her style.

I'm was the same way with my webOS devices. The only difference was that I actually didn't have any bugs with them. I just had to over clock my Pre Plus and accept the little screen, slider form factor and crappy GPS performance. Otherwise the phone was perfect for me, but most people couldn't grasp that it was possible to be that happy with a Palm product. Different scales for different folks (or something like that).

Nexus # 4 works great--the process of getting a good phone

well gang,

i am just so happy that i have the verizon insurance and one year guarantee. The folks in the store told me what ever baloney to dupe me into believing that it was normal to function most of time w/o a real data connection.....they got me to blow my 14 day return period. i moved from blackberyy into the magical complicated world of android and was dumb, but smartened up.

Really one of the tier 2 techies told me the truth: they sold you a phone that does not work and as long as you follow their tech support protocals they should send you as many phone as is necessary to put a good working phone in your hands.

Well i listed and escalated again and again........very politely blaming management for releasing the nexus in a beta form.....a few nechies agreed or repsonded that they monitored their phone lines and they could not comment. eventually i ended up with a higher level supervisor........

I went thru every screwed up malfunction possible...... the verizon rules are:
1. do re-sets and polititely insist the the phone doesn't work, if they will not authorize a replacement keep escalating and they will send you a new phone.

it took almost three keeps from when i became very assertive, until i got the third phone and everything worked very well.........................

WAs it worth the wasted time....yes do i like my nexus more than a little bit? yes

the time wasn't really wasted because now a get the android system. yes, i may have specific problems with an app or with interaction between two apps. the techies, god bless the good one and curse the lazy ones, made me more self-suffient and force me to learn the system and how to resolve and trouble-shoot problems.

this a great phone--i get 14-16 hours and sometimes more on an extended battery w/o rooting. i jst read this website and try what works. Hint Wifi uses less battery life than 4glite....while at work and home, i'm on wifi. use the swipe screen to turn off app's and just be conscious of the battery and top off when it's easy to do so.

Right now i am trying to master voice commands and having some problems--it's not siri but i can live with that.
