I LOVE my Nexus (sarcasm) - complaint thread

Of course I'll get flamed for it, but I'll just go back in hide in the Verizon Galaxy Nexus Rooting, ROM's, and Hack's forum for a month of two like I did the last time I used common sense in the main forum. If you've had the phone since day one you had until Jan. 15th to return it. It's you're own fault you're too lazy to return it for a new phone because you're unhappy. Some of you are really desperate for attention evidently, because you keep going in circles with your arguments.

Again, my only issue here is NOT with the complaining, I do my share of complaining about a lot of things.

It is when people don't simply complain about the problems they are experiencing individually, but complain as if the Nexus, as a product, is particularly a problem compared to other phones. One early poster said the Nexus was a "fiasco" which is, of course, silly.

The Nexus is not perfect, but it is closer to perfect than most other phones. It is NOT a problem phone, even if individual phones/users have problems. Complain all you like, just don't extrapolate your problems to a macro level.

At the end of the day everyone has a choice, keep it or return it. I don't get why everyone is up in arms about this. However I don't care what you say about people defending the nexus going out of their way, that happens on any forum. Regardless of what the topic is. I guarantee that if I went to a Chevy website and started [complain]ing about my terrible gas mileage and ended it saying I'm considering a ford, there would be e-riots against me. If you dislike it so much just return the darn thing. Even if you are having problems, half the people on here don't care and the other half are happy your having them. You have a return policy and if you choose to avoid it and have issues then shame on you.

The only way to solve this is to do a rap battle. I'm sorry, but there's no other logical way to end it. The OP and GNex Girl need to be on one side; dmmarck, Droid800, and PaulDroid on the other - I know that's 3 on 2, but it is what it is.

We do need to find an underground warehosue, and someone who knows how to provide a beat, because I surely don't - maybe someone could create one on their Nexus. But I honestly see no other way to settle this (beyond bloodshed, but that would be wholly unnecessary).

It comes down to this folks: Those of you having reception issues - Really sorry and I feel for you. Honestly, I do. I dont have problems with this phone's reception at all and have never noticed the reception to be any worse in any specific location than any other phone I've ever owned, and I'm legitimately sorry that others are not having the same type of experience because this really is a great phone with all those problems aside.

If the phone is working for you, AWESOME! Enjoy it, and with the coming updates it's only gonna get better.

If you are having issues with something like reception and its bugging you, but you feel you can live with it for now, then keep holding onto that rope and don't look down. It's a rough road for you but it's going to get better. In the mean time, take other people's suggestions on troubleshooting your problems and do what you can to make the most of this rough spot.

If you are having issues with the phone that are driving you mad to the point that you want to release all of your anger and hatred on the forums, DONT. Just swap it out, tell yourself "better luck next time" and get something else that will work better for YOU. Theres no need for Flamefest 2012 to be in the Galaxy Nexus Forums.

You would not have been happy with it either. It was a brands new phone,brand new Android OS and it had a lot of bugs. Many of them that were never addressed in fact because HTC was busy working on the MyTouch.

So like so many have already that is clearly being ignored. Everyone of these phones have their own set of problems. You either learn to deal with them or move along. B-)

I ran a android theme on my BB and loved it ever since ha ha. I still would have taken a G1. As long as it made phone calls and handled email. Everything was second forte for me at that time. The dang BB took 5 minutes to boot! My how times change.......If I want a stable browser and a bugless phone, like you I would recommend the iPhone. I appreciate the fact you say it "like it is, and speak truth." That is why I continue discussions with you, out of respect. But I am okay with a buggy ICS or any android for that matter, because where apple is limited, android picks up and runs! I still haven't heard the respocible party affirm the dropped mic issue fix in .4 or maybe I would re consider a nexus. I won't take a "net warrior's" word, EVER. Nobody does.

The point has not been taken because some people fail to use logic when thinking about these types of arguments and issues. Instead they just spew things they think are "facts" which apply to the masses because they have a bad experience. Isn't the new update suppose to fix said radios in the Nexus amongst other things? Why would the update have a fix for the radios if there is only handful of people with the issue? Why push out a fix for such a small anomaly like you all claim.
