I called customer support and asked nicely since there were several phones released recently. The lady on the line put on me on hold and came back saying their manager okay'd it and three days later got to the One.

I tried to get sprint to up one of my upgrades on a line, 3 days mind you, so I could get a new phone for my dad the same day I upgraded my line. Sprint basically told me to pound sand and if I wanted to get an early upgrade it was going to cost me 50 bucks. I was like, the upgrade date is in 3 days, please????? She wouldn't budge. I called back and got a different customer no-service chick and she told me the same thing. A-holes.
