I personally witnessed an AT&T Rep pushing Samsung in a big way today.

There are sales reps who know their devices. There are good reps. There are also reps who aren't very knowledgeable. Those that are informed have a lot to offer the consumer. Be polite and not bash them.

It's a shame though that there are a lot of them that don't take into consideration that you know what you want. Those are the ones I kindly dismiss lol.

Honestly, I wouldn't read too much into it. It happens all the time. A large part of that job is commission and he might have gotten more commission of the S4 or S3 than the one.

Also, there's a good chunk of people you see that work at a cell phone store, best buy, or even like a game stop really don't know that much or even know jack **** about what there selling . really, I try not to hold it against them. It's a job. It's not like their IT tech support or something. I get more annoyed at the people who won't leave me alone when I'm just browsing or testing stuff out. But again, can't blame them too much.

It's not like they are going to know that you are very well educated in this stuff because it's a hobby or passion interest of yours and there job is to provide customer service.
