I prefer the 5 over the 6... I don't know why

Yeah, same here! I really thought the curved screen would bother me, but I actually like the added real estate on the sides. My regular P6 is kinda left out in the cold...LOL!!
Im so use to curved displays now .

I love the cases from Google for the Pixel 5. Grippy but not rubbery, with just the right texture. I have 3 of the 4 offered, but that Chameleon Green eludes me. It was the first to sell out but I'm still on the hunt.

How well do these fabric cases hold up? I've wanted to try them out but the price along with the prospect of dirtiness/damage were always stopping me from making a purchase.

They seem very durable. No nicks or scratches. I've been using the black one for a month and it looks like the day I got it. I had the gray one on for even longer and it still looks like it did on day one. I may switch to my Confetti Blue case in a bit. I'm still on the hunt for the Chameleon Green case but they're as rare as hens' teeth.

Thank you so much for your review! I may have to revisit the idea of buying a fabric case!

I think if I could get a Pixel 5 with 256gb of storage I would not have a Pixel 6 Pro.

I prefer the size, the FPS on the back, I prefer the design too, smaller bezels than the standard 6 and flat screen vs. the Pro

I like the overall size and (lack of) weight of the 5. I get 5G and wireless charging, the two main reasons I went with the 5 to replace my 3a XL. Great camera too, even if it's not a flagship-level camera. Plenty good enough for my modest needs. G Pay was easy to set up and I was even able to link my Venmo account. All I had to do was request a Venmo debit card (free) to use that money for contactless payment.

While I've enjoyed the P5, I realized after bringing my Galaxy S8+ out of retirement to serve as a secondary camera during events, I miss the screen size. So I've gone to the P6 Pro. Physically it is only slightly bigger than the S8+ but a bigger screen.

Those are my reasons too! I definitely missed the rest FPS. When I went from my Google Pixel 2 to the Samsung Galaxy S10, I'd sometimes press the back of the phone, thinking I'd still be able to unlock my phone. I'm certainly happy with the 5!

My Pixel 5 is running GrapheneOS and it’s the phone in my pocket when I leave the house. The Pixel 6 is my “ Googly” phone, and I only use it at home.

I like the size and weight of the 5 as well as the FPS on the back. I find the under-screen FPS faintly annoying.

They are both good but different. I like the things which come with the Tensor chip.

I also think there are some surprises buried in Android 13 that will only work with the Tensor 2 chip in the soon-to-come Pixel 7.

I will not be buying a Pixel 7, because I am quite content for now. Between the two phones, an iPad Air 4, and a Chromebook, I can do anything I want to do.

Edited to add:
Well, so much for that!

I bought a Pixel 7 Pro during the Best Buy Black Friday event, and traded my Pixel 6.

Couldn’t resist the price, and I really wanted the telephoto and macro capabilities.

I am weak …… and I succumbed.

That sounds like a super-system of devices you've got going! I love your plan of a Pixel 5 out and about and a Pixel 6 at home.
