I put an sd card in my phone and its not recognizing the card. It says theres no card found.

This is a brand new phone I just received and am in need of space. Can someone please tell me how to fix this. It's saying there's no card installed when I go to switch to card storage.

That could be a bad phone or a bad card. You'd have to try it with a known-good card, or putting the card into a known-good phone, to determine which it is.
