Sorry to hear that. Do keep us informed on how google handled the issue. I guess as long as it is under warranty they will have to send in a new device to those that go through the issue since its widely reported now.
Spoke with them on my lunch hour and explained what I was seeing. Obviously asked if I dropped it. They asked me to get in contact with Huawei and their team to probably reiterate what I told them. Google doesn't seem to be giving me the run around, it's just that they aren't the manufacturer of the phone, so there's that added layer. I came in last night from hanging out with friends and went to bed, hooked it up to my charger. I wouldn't have noticed anything if one of the cracks didn't start to travel into the opening of the adopted case. The other crack was under the case off to the right and not visible.
