I updated my Moto G4 Play to Nougat now sim can't be reached what to do!!!!

I recently bought a Moto G4 Play XT1609 16 gb i updated it on Nougat 7.1.1 after that no more sim I tried another sim but the same result what to do?

It was an official update of Nougat on Moto G4 Play 7.1.1 i saw it on internet they were saying that the new update was good so i updated it but there's no sim now my fellow members are saying you have to unlock ur sim from a mobile shop tho i am from Pakistan

Plzzzzz tell me what to do anyone? Do i have to unlock my sim?

Okay. I've never updated phones myself except via OTA updates or by using a manufacturer's update tool via a PC.
I'll move the thread to the G4 Play forum for comments.
