Hey folks,

I'm currently on JB with the latest leaked version LJ7. What I noticed with this version is that the phone runs abnormally hot and the battery drains significantly. The drain and heat I didn't notice until the LJ7 version and I tried all of the other leaks out there and they were very good. With that said I tried changing my "radio" from the LJ7 version back to LI3 and it seems like the phone is running normal. So for those of you that are rooted try changing the radio back to an older version if you are having heat problems and report back.

Thanks,

Hmmm, that's the very reason I left CM10 jellybean (on my Epic)...Hot and fast battery drain...but I thought that was because the Epic hardware wasn't efficient enough to run it.

I believe I was told the LI3 modem wouldn't work with Jelly Bean, so I flashed to LIH for this reason. I was at the mall today and my signal was atrocious, and my phone was hot. My phone doesn't run hot, even when using processor-intense apps it rarely gets as got as it has with JB. I feel my signal still stinks, so I may try the LI3. When I had a leaked version of jb the LI3 did not work, I couldn't make any phone calls. The LIH seems to be better than the LJ7 for sure....as far as getting hot goes.
