If you could change ONE thing about the G4, what would it be?

I can't decide. Either 5.8" or 4,000 mah battery. Or make it 5.8" and then include a larger battery as well =D

Make it the G3 size and overall front design. I feel the G3 just has a better-looking and feeling front design. And the G4 is just a taaad too big for me to comfortably hold. Note that I can hold it; I just mean comfortably. (one-handed)

Then I hope you don't get your wish ;) The last thing I want is for it to get even bigger, I'd prefer 5.1" or so.

And I'd happily take a 1080 FHD display vs QHD, if it meant longer battery life and/or better performance.

Honestly, just like everybody else, battery life would be number one. Second choice would be faster quick charging, especially while using the device. Third choice would be a better keyboard/emojis. I liked the feature that my Droid Maxx's Google keyboard had where it'll underline a word in red if it's misspelled and if you click it you get a list of possible correct spellings, and I also liked the fact that if you get a word wrong using swype, you can press backspace once to delete the whole word.

5.5 is perfect. Just shrink the bezels back down to G3 size or better.

Haha, ironically, I wouldn't touch your device xD Not even considering it. 5.2 is far too small for my taste, let alone 5.5. I came from the Nexus 6, Note 4, Lumia 1520. I enjoy larger devices. The G4 is the best device out there for me now, so I'm dealing with the "smaller" screen. But I agree about the 1080p. I loved the Lumia 1520's 1080p screen. Very nice! I wish they'd stop pushing these higher resolution screens on us. If 1080p is good enough for my 47" TV in my living room, then it's good enough for my 5.5" device, too.

3 things

1) A 3,500mAh battery if it can be shrunk down to the size of the G4's current cell.

2) A metal frame around the sides instead of the cheapskate chromed plastic trim.

3) A light around the rear power-key that pulsates when you get a new notification, like on the LG G2.

One thing that I'm still mixed on is the Snapdragon 810. The 808 is more than perfectly fine on the G4 (it actually performs better than the 810 by a mile over time), but maybe I would like to see if it is possible to actually make the 810 not overheat so much and pair it with a much more advanced cooling system.

It won't exist anytime soon, however, and that's one reason why I didn't include it. Plus, the 808, like I said, is already more than capable enough for the G4, so I don't have complaints there.

Another thing that's nice but also not bothersome at all for me is a wider-angle front-facing camera.

LG getting their $got together as far as getting their engineers to test their hardware with Android system software and making sure they place nice together BEFORE the phone is released. So I got a brand new phone with ask the latest technology in my hands as far as hardware and chipset goes, yet the phone lags and stutters at the simplest tasks like scrolling down a website and looking trough photos thumbnails. Screen is not registering touches right, which is also an issue of hardware vs software. We shouldn't have to wait until updates to fix things that shouldn't be happening on a brand new phone. It gives us the customer a feeling LG is more worried about selling devices than the experience we will have with such devices.

Make the touchscreen actually, you know, sensitive to touch. Out of all the great things about this phone, the touch is the worst I have ever encountered.

This.

Smaller bezel and/or front facing speakers would be a bonus.

That faux chrome trim would be real aluminum or stainless steel.

Brushed stainless steel would look cool and give the sides more grip.
