If you don't use the TouchWiz stock launcher....

Does the Google now launcher run flawless on the S5?!?

So far it runs perfect besides ultra power saving mode. Not had one problem with it.

I am working on through the XDA-Developers posting on the site to use Sense 6 on the S5. Successfully, the launcher works great whic to me is a definite upgrade from TouchWiz. I had a M8 for a week and 1/2 before deciding to switch to a S5 and the 2 main things I do not like with the S5 is: TouchWiz & Random Pocket Turn Ons due to the where the power switch sits on the S5. With that said, the camera and other features of the S5 is making me stay with it. And now running the Sense 6 Launcher, I have the best of both worlds so to speak. The only issue is that I cannot get the Blinkfeed main page to update. I can get feeds, select feeds but they just do not update. The other beauty of this is although I am rooted, You can work around install this onto a non roooted phone. here is the link: [UPDATE 8][APP] HTC Sense 6 Apps APK's (All thanks to GakuGaku for porting) - xda-developers

I use Nova with stock icons.

I have just installed the Grunge icons pack but will probably end up going back.

I prefer to have all icons more or less matching and don't like when some icons aren't part of the pack.

I can't figure out how to get it on my S5. Its in my files but just asks to be extracted and no othe options.

I'm using Aviate as well. As the previous poster said, everything is pretty much there when you need it!

Been trying out different icon packs for the first time. Love it. Currently using Grunge icon pack.

Found it out that a couple of icons don't change, yet they are very popular apps (Facebook, Twitter, android central) to name a few. What's odd is with a couple of not so popular apps, it takes the current icon, and puts it in a circle to match the rest.

Here's a screenshot....

Look again in your app draw, some of those have grunge theme.

I realize that..... Just weird that grunge doesn't have icons for Facebook and Twitter?

Some of my not so common apps, like a local newspaper, it converted it to the circle style icon.

I'm using SIRI Black icon pack with Nova Prime. I like how all the icons match....

Figured it out. All I had to do was remove those apps from my home screen and re-add them.

I believe those icons were in my app drawer before I installed th icon pack, and when I moved them onto my main screen, it kept the old look, not the new icon.

I lose "OK Google" handsfree voice search when I use a 3rd Party Launcher.... back to TW.

Yeah this kinda sucks losing hotword detection on the Google widget. Anyone know how to turn it on in Nova?

I use next 3d laucher holo screen locker ( paid ) next notifications and cube icons 4 apex (paid). If you can't find a customizable set up with these then tw is for you. Low battery drain. Cubed icons on Play Store for free

I will be working on a full post on XDA under the Sprint Galaxy S5 forum to get Sense 6 Blinkfeed Launcher fully working. Currently through help from some other XDA members, I got the "feeds" to work along with weather & twitter. I know they are actively working on getting other social media working as well like facebook and instagram. I will detail in my pst and provide all the file links... but basically to get everything to work you need:
1. To be rooted
2. have a file explorer like root explorer that will allow for writing and deleting from root directories: system/priv-app & system/app in particular

It is pretty awesome with the black blinkfeed, working on my S5. I knew it was possible just took a little work
