I ordered on a 16gb N7, w/o any accessories on 7/13 at 10pm pst. The funds were held up until 7/18 now my account isn't showing anything.

Here's a little update:

I called CS and they told me that I should receive an email on Monday or Tuesday with tracking information and that my order should immediately follow.

Ordered an 8g on the 17th and they hit my CC pretty quick. I didn't hear anything (except for the initial email) and then on the 19th the charge disappeared from my CC. UPS delivered it later on the 19th and I got the 'Your order has shipped' email a couple hours after that. And the charge still isn't on my CC.

Ordered an 8gb on 7/16 7:45am, it arrived before 4pm 7/17.

It's the 16gb units that are still being delayed.

I ordered on 7/15, 16GB model. Pending charge hit my cc that day, continued until late last night. Pending charge is now gone off of my cc. No email, no tracking number. I'm hoping that mine will be waiting for me at home when I get home from work, but we'll see.

Hi all. First post here. Ordered the 16GB model with no accessories late on 7/15, pending charge on cc appeared immediately and was still there today. Play store said 1-2 weeks for delivery, so I'm hoping for 3 weeks.

I bought it as a birthday gift for someone (late August), so I'm not in too much of a hurry, but if I like it I might just get one for myself!

NYC. I'm pretty patient honestly after going through the whole touchpad debacle last year and waiting 2-3 months for 2 which I promptly sold after hating android on it.. After a month I'm gonna start to get annoyed so a week so far isn't so bad..

ordered 8g on the 17th, received it on the 19th. no e-mails from google though. but once I received it, I had the "your order has shipped" e-mail.

I ordered the 16GB, no accessories, on Jul 14. A pending charge appeared on my credit card, but disappeared today. At the same time the "order date" on my Play account changed from Jul 14 to Jul 20. No email.

I have no idea what these changes mean to my order. I am not desperate for the new toy, but it would be nice if Google updates its customers via email about ETA. I would just cancel the order except that I can't do it online, and prob. would have to spend an hour waiting on the phone.

Maybe Google should outsource physical product shipments next time.

I ordered the 8GB N7 on July 18 with no extra accessories around 7 in the morning central time from the play store. I got charged the next day saying it's shipped. I received it today on July 20 around 2:30 in the afternoon central time. I had no problem whatsoever. I feel bad for everyone having issues

For all you guys that ordered threw the Play Store and havent received your order but are probably going to get it by the end of the month, be happy. I went to my local Gamestop where I preordered as soon as it was announced they would be taking pre orders and they said earliest first week of august or early September. Almost makes me not want it anymore.

Ordered a 16 GB on early July 12th.

Haven't heard anything and have e-mailed/ called multiple times with no response. I've been hoping that "by the end of next week" means there's at least a shot I get it Tuesday, Wednesday, etc. I mean Saturday being the very last possible day. Although I'm definitely losing hope. :''''(

I've had this sleeve sitting here since like Monday/ Tuesday. I got a cable to plug in USB devices I ordered in the mail today. I'm supposed to get the screen protector tomorrow. (Amazon shipped them all separately). Damn it's annoying. :-\

EDIT: I'm scared as hell with all these defects I'm reading about. To have to wait so long to only receive a defective unit would be horrible.

I don't think you can cancel your order online. They wouldn't even let me cancel over the phone. They gave me some crap about the order already processed and that I should receive it early next week at the latest.

I can certainly sympathize with you. I just dont understand the route cause of the shipping problems. Was it that they(as in Google and Asus) didnt produce enough to meet the demand? If that is the issue, then why not make an official statement? I understand if they didn`t think this product would be in such high demand. But then thinking about it, how could they not think it would be popular at that price point? I feel let down by Google. Them being a multimillion dollar company, I would expect there customer service to Google Play customers to be better, because you guys deserve to get them. I went the Gamestop route because i had over 150 and store credit and I also had a 25 dollar gift card. As i dont have a video game console i thought it would be a great way to use that up. I have a bad taste in my mouth about Google, they apparently cant keep up with the demand of there own customers let alone brick and mortar stores. I hate to compare but ive never had this type of problem with Apple. Not even when the iphone 1 launched. Now in days Apple products are more popular then ever and i can still walk into a walmart on launch and still purchase whatever that specific Apple product is. Then again Apple actually announces a release date.
