July 14. Funds held, released two days later and now charged and shipped on the 24th. Scheduled delivery on the 26th. 16 gig no accessories. Coming from Knoxville to Florida. Not bad really considering it's the only way you can get one.

I ordered the 8 GB (no accessories) on 7/26 at 1:40 pm. The order confirmation email said it'll arrive in 3-5 business days. As of this evening, my cc charge is pending. It seems sort of strange to me but there are 2 charges; one for $224.93 and a second one for $1.00.

Wow! I received an email from Google this morning (2:35 am) that it's shipped! It's coming 2nd Day Air and I've got a tracking number.

As I said I purchased this as a gift for someone else and I can report that it has been a hit. Perfect condition as far as I can tell, no issues so far. It will be primarily used for reading ebooks and surfing; I'm eagerly awaiting the return of the 16GB so I can get one myself which will probably be used a whole lot more!

My overnight delivery just got bumped from today until Monday. Received an email on July 26 saying it was being shipped and now I will not get it until July 30, so much for overnight delivery.:-\

UPS nightmare here...... marked as being on truck for delivery @5:55 this AM. Went to bed(I work nights) and woke up @ 2:45 to find it marked as having missed the truck. So I called UPS and told them I would pick it up. They say Sure thats fine, the UPS Center will call you to confirm pick up times. They called and:
UPS:Yes this is UPS, you can pick it up @ 7:45 tonight
Me:7:45?? what do you mean 7:45???
UPS: Well , Sir, our drivers don't get back to base until around 7.....
Me: Your Drivers? It's on the truck?? Your entire system from computer to Customer Service rep told me it wasn't on the truck
Ups: No sir, it's on the truck.
Me: Well if it's on the truck that means you can bring it to me right??
UPS: No Sir. You told us you wanted to pick it up.
Me: Well Yes, based on you telling me it wasn't on the truck.
UPS:But it was on the truck sir.
me: GAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I don't get it, I ordered the same thing on the 22nd and have heard nothing. Very disappointed.

I ordered the 16g on 7-16 and it was delivered today.I almost didn't accept due to all the problems I have been reading about but took the chance anyway.Everything seems to be fine and I'm a happy camper.
