I'm bored, so maybe I'll finally root and flash a new rom.

Just a quick question before I do. When I've had to restore to factory, everything gets synced back to where it was prior to the restore. If I flash a rom with gingerbread and sense 3.0, then set up my accounts again, will everything be synced back again? I mean all the apps, settings, etc. Or is there a way to save a backup of these things prior to rooting?

When I flash rcmix 3d kingdom it synced most of my stuff but not all. I think it will restore the apps that are on your SD card because it only restored some of my apps. Maybe half of my messages and no call history. I would recommend backing up anything important.
