I'm playing with a thunderbolt as we speak!

People should really stop referring to the "new" Best Buy screenshot since it shows release dates in 2010! Obviously this picture is from November at latest. This would make any information in that screen shot out of date by about 3 months. Perhaps March 10th was the original date but we all know things have changed....

I just posted the same thing in the BB thread. That paper is from last year or they changed the date and reprinted it. Does BB normally keep a sheet of Launch dates from last year with phones from this year?...don't know but the TB is also the only phone that's on their from this year.
I'm not believing anything I read anymore unless its an OFFICIAL announcement. I could have easily photoshoped that same picture with a release date of April and spread rumors also. Either way... whether its the 3,4 or 10th.... something should be announced real soon.

If you go to that thread where the new picture is of the March 10 release towards the end. Someone posted some old links about the incredible release. They had a pic from Best Buy and it was similar and they had a phone date from 2009 I believe.

Not saying the new date is correct, but make's you think for a sec. Again, nothing is solid till Vzw comes out!

Also I never heard of a Thunderbolt...I've heard of a Lightning Bolt and Thunder...hahahaha...Sorry, just being stupid.

I think the term "thunderbolt" is more common in certain areas of the country. To me, a thunderbolt is when you see lightning and hear thunder at the same time because it's very close. The kind that really rattles the house and rasies the hairs on your arm.

pre ordered from local bb in los angeles and rep said they are getting them on the 28 ,take it for what its worth but it wont bother me to go to the bb on the 28 so we will see

And in reference to how fast the phone is....sight and sound at the same time ie 4G

I can except that. I was just being silly and showing some dumb frustration towards the name since everyone else is mad about the release of this (including me). That's all...bad joke.:-[

What pnicho and TechnologyNerd37 said is correct. One-year contracts are still possible with a +$70 to +$80 upfront cost (which more than makes up for being stuck in a two-year with outdated technology).

What they cancelled was the ability for discounted upgrades to be given out as early as 12 months into a two-year contract. Furthermore, NE2 is dead so you don't get a huge reduction/almost-free phone every two years anymore. It seems that instead they want to keep plans cheaper (to compete with other networks), requiring the devices to be more expensive upfront to make up for the lowered profits. I'd rather pay the same $30/month for 4G as I do for 3G and +$50 to +$100 for a device than have to deal with even a +$5 increase in monthly pricing.
This makes sense, I like what their doing then

A few weeks ago, I was thinking that next year's follow up to the TB might be called the lightningbolt instead of thunderbolt 2.

screen size of the X and Evo are the same both 4.3" pretty sure it the Thunderbolt vs Evo shmack down video showed thunderbolt thicker i'm go rewatch it now to be sure

As a Droid X owner I think the Droid X is more so 4.2 inches, it's thinner and longer than the Evos screen. I like the width of the Evos screen better, makes the keys bigger thicker and easier to type on..

ok Guys so indeed the march 4th date is no longer an option.... it will be out in 2 weeks with no official date but that march 10th might be true after all!!

black_man_x The Mobile Panda
