Beauty....is in the eye of the beholder.

In other words....my kids mother doesnt think Moto phones are ugly. Yes...a female...doesnt think they are ugly. Especially the RAZR. As a matter of fact, a phone being ugly or pretty or sexy doesnt even matter to her....and this is a woman with about 3-4 crates/bins of shoes...

Its physical appearance is pretty much the last thing on my phone purchasing list assuming its not pink. NEITHER are as comfortable in my hand as an smaller device like an og or iPhone so while one maybe mildly better if it was really that big of a deal I wouldn't get either...

Personally I don't see why people thing the razr is ugly....I think its pretty cool...ifixit was impressed with the engineering behind it. They didn't say the same about the GN just cause its nothing special as far as the design goes...

We all have our own opinions there is no reason to get upset if someone has different one. Be a pretty boring place if we all tthought a like...

Looks are subjective and varies according to individual taste. The engineering and build is something that is quantifiable and something that Moto phones are known for. The Razr is no exception and is a very, very solidly built phone.

I'll take stainless steel and kevlar over plastic any day. The build materials on the iphone are part of what makes it appealing to many people and it is something that lacks on many other android phones. The Razr is a rare example of premium quality materials in an android phone and it is a noticeable difference right away when you hold it.

This is very true. I have read in several reviews that once you remove the ICS factor the GSII is a much better and better built phone than the GN. I really dont care which phone is obsolete because I have had 5 flagship phones in 2011. I will sell this puppy in a second and get the latest and greatest at retail price.. Truth be told im very happy with this RAZR. It is very solid and until you plug this phone into the HD dock and a 60 inch flatsceen while typing away on your microsoft arch keyboard and mouse, you have not lived. The RAZR is awesome and Motorola kicks major but with the amount of $$ change $$ it supports its products with by making these freakin cool accessories. I am a cell phone junkie. I have owned Samsung, HTC, Motorola, etc... Three of my last 5 phones were the X, Bionic and RAZR and Motorola ups the stakes with the HD DOCK and Car DOCK. Even when I drive the car dock interface allows me to focus on the road while navigating my phone. Todays phones are so much more than a way of comunicating by voice. Motorola simply is hitting the maerk by making solid phones with accessories that are very usefull and kick@$$. ICS will be here for the RAZR in a short time. I played with the GN for 2 hours . One of my friends took his RAZR back after the GN came out and paid the restocking fee. Now he's mad because he is realizing he only did it to get ICS. Every review I have read reveals that the GN is a Good phone but beyond the ICS factor alot of the latest handsets are superior even the GSII which is suposed to be its girlfriend!

The RAZR resolution is awesome. The GN has a little better screen but the RAZR is all around head to toe a better phone.Besides being a better constructed unit the phone is sexy as well. If I thought for one second that the GN was better I would have sold this thing in 5 minutes. As a matter of a fact I wouldnt even have to sell it I havent past my 14 days yet. The RAZr is so much a better phone that once it gets the ICS update they wont even be comparing these units. Ill do you one better. If you put Android 2.3.5 on the NEXUS nobody would bother buying it. Yet people are still getting the RAZR although it doesnt have ICS. All my buddy keeps talking about with his GN is the features of ICS ,Other than that there isnt much to the phone. Meanwhile I continue to blow him away with my RAZR. I went over to his house and set up my HD station on his 55 inch along with my Bose media speakers and microsoft arch set up. Then I threw on some J Cole and hit the Internet was blowing threw web pages at blazing fast speeds while blasting a smoking hot play list threw my bose set up.. Then after i answered a few calls on the set we watched tranformers threw my phone. He was pissed. I havent talked to him since but when I left he was looking for the box. He think he took it back.I would rather have the Bionic than the GN. Im sorry just being honest. The phone isnt saying much. all I hear is ICS, ICS and the scree, ok then what?

With an add on software the GN will support dnla. I dont know if I would ever use that HDMI capability on my TV. But the out if the box features on the Razr are the business. I do like the construction and the sleek feel of the Razr. N overall the software seems to be better optimized than the GN. My 17yr old like the Razr better than the GN looks wise and I always keep him with moti phones cause they tend to be nore durable.

N honestly the Razr did feel better in pocket. Where the GN has the slight advantage is in the processor. 4460 DDR3 ram vs 4430 DDR2 ram. The cpu is underclocked to 1.2ghz on the GN. But on all youtube vids. The Razr overall has outperformed the GN

A lot of that has to do with the fact that Moto devices have superior cellular radios over Samsung and especially the Galaxy Nexus
