I'm SOOOO glad I got the Razr

When a phone falls apart in your hand what would you call it? That's what happened to me when I was checking it out in the store, hence my comment in the OP.

I don't feel the need to see what GN owners are saying about the Razr because frankly I don't care. So why are you here again?

Oh you know, just putting some use in on my pos before it falls apart.

I think there are some GN buyers who based their decision on the fact that it had been reviewed as the greatest phone ever made, and are then annoyed when they discover that there are people that don't actually share that view. Insecurities abound.

Same can be said about Apple users, football fans, baseball fans, etc. Really...there is nothing new about all the "My stuff is better than yours" because it's petty arguments like that people try to make it seem that they made the product and they are the greatest person in the whole wide world for choosing what they chose.

Seriously...it's a freaking phone. Are all the Android users tired of battling with Apple users now so they attack each other?

Am I better because I chose to wear Nike sneakers while others chose Converse? Use what you're most comfortable with...the hell what others say because in the end YOU'RE the one using it not them. You chose what you chose. If you have to argue that it's the greatest thing, then you're only trying to convince yourself, not others, that it is which means you have buyers remorse.

EDIT: BTW, this reply was not towards tdubrpdx post.

lolololol above all the RAZR is so ugly. complete eye sore. next, if you have used vanilla android before and think for two seconds that MOTOBLUR is better, you have serious, and I mean serious problems. But oh well I think I'll just hold off for the Galaxy Nexus Maxx.... hahahhahahahhahahahahahahhahahaha

Really? an eyesore? Have you used a Moto device as of late? the "Motoblur" is barely there that it is "almost" Vanilla android. In fact, the parts that Moto added makes it better. It doesn't over take the phone like Touchwiz or HTC sense.

As for your Razr Maxx comment, if a new phone that is better is either being released by the same manufacturer or a different one...what difference does it make? New products (not just cell phones) are always being released and upgraded constantly. Should you not buy a phone because you think a better one is coming out? Also, the MAXX may be coming out but there really is NO official word in which carrier is going to get it...in fact they were rumored for a China launch then somehow came to the US.

Trust me, there will be something put out in less than a month either by Samsung or another manufacturer that will trump the Nexus and put it to shame....you may want to wait...or not...

i own both and cannot for the life of me see whats so great about the gnex ? yes ICS is pretty great but the hardware is not all that i mean come on . will it improve with updates ? MAYBE . untill it does why not call it like it is .

Its ok the Gnex owners have nothing else to do but sit on a computer and troll the forums since they cant get a signal and when they do they have about 5% left on the battery. Its sad when people with the iphone 4 make fun of how they have no signal. They could get one they just couldn't hold their phone. If you want a signal with a Gnex you gotta go camp under a tower with you alu. foil hat to boost your signal.

Its ok just go rub your cheap plastic phone that feels like you picked it up from the Metro PCS store.

Oh yeah i bet movies look awesome on it. I mean you can reall tell the high def detail on a 4.6 inch screen. Its like your in the movie lol. Guess i'll just use that HDMI port and plug it into my 60inch and enjoy 1080p. Wheres your hdmi port?

Yep, same here, it's definitely underwhelming hardware wise but whatever It's not my main line anyway.

The Gnex is sex....the RZR cuts it like a geek.....kinda simple...not even an equation...

The signal issue isn't THAT Bad and I believe this one will HDMI out with an MHL adapter but I am not sure about that.

agree that HTC will be later but I don't think it will take as long as you think. Do you remember two years ago what the first three phones (after Nexus One) to get Froyo were? EVO 4G (HTC), Moto Droid, HTC Droid Incredible, all within a 2-3 week span of each-other starting 6-7 months after the code was dropped into AOSP.

What are you talking about? Froyo was made public at the end of May 2010, and the Evo 4G got the update on August 3rd. That is only 2 months and about 10 days. Not sure where you're getting 6~7 months from.
In the states, HTC is usually the fastest to update their phones. Overall, Samsung is the fastest, but sadly that doesn't apply to Samsung phones within the U.S., which for whatever reason take forever to get updated.

In the states Moto is first, pretty much always has been. Coming from an Eris and Incredible, I can tell you that , HTC is horrendously slow to update.

If you are equating that a phone equals more sex or makes you more sexy then you have some serious issues and you my friend are the geek.

Last time I checked, women I've met and hooked up with didn't say "wait, what phone do you have?" before I could talk to them.

I think he is just saying the phone is sexier.

That really comes down to personal preference, Samsung and Motorola generally design very different looking handsets from each other.

Typo should have been WEEKS. That's what happens when you write these things late at night or after a long day :( Evo was first, Moto Droid was second, followed by Droit Incredible. I had both Verizon devices.

Yes HTC is often the fastest but unfortunately that may not be the case here since Sense is going to have to be substantially rewritten to accommodate ICS features unless they plan to just leave Sense 3.5 or whatever on top of bare bones ICS and remove all of the new UI customizations which would be a shame.

to me after using the tbolt for awhile i got use to sense and it was for the most part a nice addition to android . problem is now that im using the razr it makes me realize how buried android is under sense . before long htc phone wont even be android anymore .

But that's the point. The core will always be Android but the everything else is custom because no offense to stock android (pre ICS) but it was ugly. If it weren't each manufacturer would not invest so much in their own overlays and things like GO Launcher, ADW, and Launcher Pro would not have been developed and become so popular. I'll take Sense over (pre ICS) stock Android any day of the week and would kill to have it on Motorola hardware.

Just give me your address. You sound like you could use a few strippers.

I'll make sure none of them own a Galaxy Nexus.
